I’m Alyssa, Founder & Lead Planner of AT The Soirée. For those just joining the journey, let me share a little about how it all began:
In the thick of the pandemic, I started a small business crafting custom gifts like tumblers and t-shirts. When the world began opening up, I started making proposal boxes for bridesmaids and groomsmen—and that’s where the magic truly started. One client-turned-friend asked if I’d coordinate their wedding, knowing my background as an Event Coordinator at Toronto Metropolitan University (then Ryerson). They sent me a description of what a wedding coordinator does, and the rest is history! 🌟
That first wedding reignited my passion for event planning, a love that began in high school when I organized my own debut (a Filipino coming-of-age celebration, much like a quinceañera) and helped my friends with theirs. Fast forward to today, and ATS has grown into a business I couldn’t have dreamed of back then.
This year brought challenges, but also growth. I spent countless hours refining our branding, website, workflows, and the unseen but vital parts of the business. Now, those efforts are paying off, and I’m so proud to share that our team has grown to five! I handpick each team member to ensure we deliver nothing but excellence. 💎
