Face painting takes approx 5 minutes…and in that time I get one more chance to uplift, to inspire or to encourage one child at a time🗣️

The main message I always try to get across in that short visit is that we are ALL artists! We can become or create whatever we set our hearts on♥️

None of us are just born good at anything…we ALL start out unsteady and unsure and unconfident at new skills; however, if we are WILLING to do it “badly” as many times as it takeswe can master anything!

Wow! was such a blast in downtown CR! 🇨🇦 The line up was NONSTOP but we ploughed through them in only 30 seconds each with quick, adorable faces like this rainbow cheetah! 🐆 😍

Dragons are BACK in style (or did they ever get old!?) I attended my first dragon-themed b-day party!!!! It was SO fun with the most EPIC scavenger hunt, I must say!!!!! Here’s one of my favorite dragons from that event! 🐉

Let’s talk about trust! When a little one sits down to have their face painted, they are usually excited but sometimes quite apprehensive or down right terrified about being under the brush! It can be scary, tickley, cold or simply too long sitting still. Many children can feel anxious but that’s exactly why I make sure to honour their decisions, use their name and give kind, positive encouragement right up until they get to look in the mirror! 🎨 🪞
