📣 Exciting news! 📣 The submission portal for the Fan Choice Digital Content Creator is now OPEN for The Legacy Awards! 🏆🎉

We invite you to nominate your favourite Black digital content creators in Canada. 🌟 Cast your vote and help us honour the best of the best in the industry.

In the submission round, you will get to submit the name of your favourite Black Canadian digital content creator. The nominee with the most write-ins will secure a spot among our final 8 nominees. (7 carefully curated by The Black Academy and 1 chosen by YOU!)

To submit your nominee, visit the link in our bio. The submission round will run from Thursday, July 20 - Friday, August 4 at 11:59 PM ET. The highly anticipated Legacy Awards will be held at our official venue, History, on Sunday, September 24, 2023, and will be broadcasted live on CBC and CBC Gem.

The Black Academy Skills Development Program is an unparalleled training experience in partnership with .productions designed to foster the professional growth of Black Canadians in the screen industry and increase the employability of each participant. More broadly, the program seeks to increase the number of highly skilled Black Canadians working in the screen industry and create an extraordinary space where Black talent and a sense of community can flourish. Immersive and intensive, the program delivers modules that are custom-tailored according to the existing skills, level of experience, and career goals of individual participants.

⭐ Participants will receive industry-standard wages
⭐ Custom-tailored program based on the participant's skill level
⭐ Participants will receive on-screen credit for their work on major productions like The Legacy Awards
