A summer-camp style retreat for women focused on nature, community, self and PLAY!

Camp WILD is a transformational experience for women who want to unplug, connect with other amazing women, reconnect with themselves and PLAY! Expect this and MORE if you join a WILD weekend:

* Full permission to come exactly as you are

* A long weekend that is all about YOU, set in nature to help us unwind and let go of our everyday routines

* Shared accommodation in rustic cabins for 4 days a

nd 3 nights

* Delicious and nutritious vegetarian meals (9) and snacks for the duration of camp

* Morning movement practice to kick off each day

* A choose your own adventure roster of activities throughout the weekend: Archery, Arts & Crafts, Yoga, Button Making, Music, Nature Walks, Theatre/Improv games, Workshops to help you find your authentic YES and other Personal Growth workshops, Journalling activities, Cooking Classes, and more!

* A variety of water sports to enjoy lakeside: stand up paddle board, canoe, kayak, swim, or simply lounge on a floatie

* Daily time with your pods - a smaller group to connect with throughout the weekend

* Evening camp activities including campfires, candle light yoga, theme nights, Talent/Untalent show

* A technology free weekend to disconnect to reconnect

* A drugs and alcohol free weekend to connect with your truest self

*An incredible weekend filled with connection, nature and play

🛠️✨ Have you heard about the Ottawa Tool Library?

We are so excited to partner with the amazing team at the Ottawa Tool Library (OTL) for Camp WILD! They provide access to tools including a button maker!!!! And they've been supporting Camp WILD with use of this button maker since the beginning! These buttons add a little creative fun to our tech-free weekend!

And the Ottawa Tool Library is so much more than just a place to borrow tools. They’re a community-driven non-profit that provides a wide range of tools, expertise, and even workspace for your projects! 🧰🔨

Plus, they host awesome events like Repair Cafés and workshops on everything from bike repair to zero-waste living. 🌍💡 Whether you’re fixing something old or building something new, OTL is here to help make your projects a reality.

🧵💚 Do you know EcoEquitable??

�They’re a local charity that’s doing incredible things—combining textile waste reduction with women’s empowerment through the art of sewing! And we are so proud to have them as a partner at Camp WILD! 🌿✨

Not only do they rescue fabric that would otherwise be discarded, but they also equip newcomer women with sewing skills through their Sewing for Jobs program. This helps these amazing women gain confidence, financial independence, and build community.

Part of Camp WILD, is going on a digital detox, so each camper receives a cell phone sleeping bag—designed and sewn by incredible grads from EcoEquitable’s program! 📱💤 Post camp these can be continued to be used to tuck the phone away, or for other trinkets, or as gift bags!

We are BACK from another unforgettable weekend at Camp WILD! 🌲✨

And what a weekend it was, full of laughter, connection, and celebration!

We nourished our bodies with amazing food and our souls with meaningful conversations. We celebrated each other and ourselves. We felt the power of a pause and the freedom in taking up space. And as we settle back into our lives I hope that we all remember that any time can be dancing time.

Giant love whooshes and gratitude to every woman who co-created this magical weekend. Thank you for bringing your full self and sharing your heart. 💜

Two sleeps to Camp WILD! 🌲🎉

One of the first things campers do when they arrive is create an intention flag—a special way to set the tone for the weekend. 🎨💫

This year, I’ve stitched together flags from past camps into a legacy quilt, a colourful symbol of the community we’ve built. Each flag tells a story, and I can’t wait to see what new intentions this weekend will bring. 💛

📖 Have you read What WILD Women Do by Karma Brown? The title grabbed my attention, and it turned out to be such a fun read! The novel weaves together self-discovery, women’s empowerment, connection to nature, and plenty of play. (There are even craft ideas sprinkled in!)

What’s extra cool is that the Wild Women in the title are part of a summer camp for women imagined in the Adirondacks in the ’70s! The camp that Canadian author Karma Brown dreamed up is different from ours, yet the heart of it feels so familiar—especially this gem from the Wild Women Handbook often referred to throughout the novel.
