A summer-camp style retreat for women focused on nature, community, self and PLAY!

Camp WILD is a transformational experience for women who want to unplug, connect with other amazing women, reconnect with themselves and PLAY! Expect this and MORE if you join a WILD weekend:

* Full permission to come exactly as you are

* A long weekend that is all about YOU, set in nature to help us unwind and let go of our everyday routines

* Shared accommodation in rustic cabins for 4 days a

nd 3 nights

* Delicious and nutritious vegetarian meals (9) and snacks for the duration of camp

* Morning movement practice to kick off each day

* A choose your own adventure roster of activities throughout the weekend: Archery, Arts & Crafts, Yoga, Button Making, Music, Nature Walks, Theatre/Improv games, Workshops to help you find your authentic YES and other Personal Growth workshops, Journalling activities, Cooking Classes, and more!

* A variety of water sports to enjoy lakeside: stand up paddle board, canoe, kayak, swim, or simply lounge on a floatie

* Daily time with your pods - a smaller group to connect with throughout the weekend

* Evening camp activities including campfires, candle light yoga, theme nights, Talent/Untalent show

* A technology free weekend to disconnect to reconnect

* A drugs and alcohol free weekend to connect with your truest self

📖 Have you read What WILD Women Do by Karma Brown? The title grabbed my attention, and it turned out to be such a fun read! The novel weaves together self-discovery, women’s empowerment, connection to nature, and plenty of play. (There are even craft ideas sprinkled in!)

What’s extra cool is that the Wild Women in the title are part of a summer camp for women imagined in the Adirondacks in the ’70s! The camp that Canadian author Karma Brown dreamed up is different from ours, yet the heart of it feels so familiar—especially this gem from the Wild Women Handbook often referred to throughout the novel.

🥰 Have you met Jenn?

Jenn Williams is an educator with a passion for creating learning experiences beyond the four walls of a classroom. While she has dedicated much of her career to working with youth, she LOVES engaging with adults too! Inspired by her own transformational experience at Camp YES in 2019 (an adult camp in Portland, Oregon), Jenn founded Camp WILD in 2022 to bring that same magic to her community in Southern Ontario. ✨✨✨

Since 2010, Jenn has practiced her skills in emergent program design through her work with ship-based youth expeditions. Living on a ship has taught her the true power of community and the beauty of adapting to the moment, whether guided by the weather or the collective vibe.

This same emergent programming approach is at the heart of Camp WILD. Here, the magic unfolds as the camp is co-created by both the women leading it and the campers. There's a basic plan, but how it evolves depends on who’s there and what’s needed each day.

To all our future campers, we invite you to ask yourself: What becomes possible when we focus less on how something is supposed to look and more on how it makes us feel? At Camp WILD, your only job is to come as you are and trust the process and the incredible women leading the camp. ❤

Above all, Jenn believes in the power of connection—with the physical world, with each other, and with ourselves. And she LOVES TO PLAY! When she's not working, you can find Jenn floating on her unicorn floatie, Peggy, exploring the woods, or at home baking or making soap.

Mary will be joining Camp WILD for the first time as our very own photographer. Mary is a photographer with a passion for environmental communication and you can often find her photographing WILDlife. This sets her up perfectly to capture all the WILD ladies at camp!

Her lens is poised to capture every sparkly, colourful, and joyful moment that unfolds at camp so you can comfortably tuck your camera away and just live in the moment.

Mary loves to photograph people building their relationship with nature, pushing themselves outside of their comfort zones, and all of the tender moments in between. Currently based in Vancouver, Mary is excited to return to her Ontario roots in September, the best time of the year!

🥰 Have you met Rachel?

Rachel is our Logistics Whiz and Problem Solver and just an overall bundle of fun. At Camp WILD she is the one that makes sure that everyone is comfy and cozy that things are running smoothly.

She thrives in spaces where she can help others on their learning journeys, no matter what their path might look like. A lot of her work has been with young folks but certainly not exclusively, as she has been with Camp since it's inception in 2022!

Currently living in Tkaronto / Toronto, in the Dish With One Spoon Territory, Rachel finds joy in her balcony garden, sharing food with friends and family, cycling, camping, enjoying live music and learning about the world around her.

She can't wait to support your fabulous experience at Camp WILD! Join Rachel and the whole team this September!!!

Let’s talk about sex baby! Who new plant sex talk could be so fun! We had an awesome laughter-filled day in the Gatineau Hills with 11 amazing WILD women as we learned about spring flowers and their incredible spring mating process with our amazing guide Sherry McPhail from Big Pine Hikes. We saw a TON of beautiful flowers strutting their stuff and we definitely recommend you getting out there to see them soon before they’re gone!!! This was a FUNdraiser for the WILD Women Bursary!
