Hiya! I'm Yaroslava, the face behind Liquid Velvet Films 👋

My videography journey began nearly 11 years ago as an obsession with capturing my own life’s moments. It all started with documenting my early travels, where the ability to visually relive through those memories felt like a gift to my future self.

What began as a hobby blossomed into a passionate business throughout the last 5 years, where I now devote most of my time to intentionally capturing moments for others and working with businesses to bring their vision to life.

When I'm not behind the camera you'll often find me somewhere outdoors, indulging in food, spending time with my friends or enjoying some solitude while I replay one of my favourite games with a Negroni by my side.

On a more personal front, I place great importance on mental health and believe in the power of self-care and personal growth. Engaging in insightful conversations, practicing various forms of movement and experiencing life's joys are at the core of my being.

To all of my friends and clients that have been here with me from the start - thank you from the bottom of my heart for your never-ending support. To all of you that I have met in the last couple of years of doing this full-time, I feel so lucky to have crossed paths and gotten to know you ❀

 you’re doing it right and I wanna be there. You won’t find Selina & John’s full wedding film on my website because it’s an hour long!! - but here is their highlight reel đŸ„°

As much as cinematic highlight reels will forever have my heart, what I’ve found myself naturally doing throughout 2022 is delivering longer films full of countless organic moments. If you are looking for a more detailed documentation of your special day (as well as a highlight reel 😉) I’m your girl. I’m big on the tiniest details and capturing the authentic, special moments between you and your loved ones that happen in the blink of an eye.
