The first snowfall always brings me back to the first snowfall of 2018... on our wedding day! Although this was in September and a surprise to us all when we woke up that morning, it created the perfect canvas for our special day. ❄️

Was snow in the plans for our fall wedding? Nope! Did we adjust, make the absolute best of it and make it work? You 👏🏼 know 👏🏼 we 👏🏼 did!

Always a big shoutout to my bridesmaids who braved the cold in short dresses and sandals and didn’t complain once. You’re the real champions here 😅

There was not a dry eye in the room when Noah (my favourite best man I’ve ever worked with by the way) saw his mom before she walked down the aisle. Last weekends mother-son duo was just about too much for my softie heart to handle 🥹

Hello wedding world, Emma here! 👋🏼

I have been awfully quiet over here (new mom life..) but I haven’t forgotten about my first baby, Ivy Weddings! I am very exited to be working on a rebrand, new website and relaunch of Ivy Weddings, focusing solely on Wedding Coordination for Edmonton and area couples! I’ve learned so much over the last couple years and am excited to really hone in on our speciality and what I love to do. I’m finding my fit in this wild wild wedding industry over here 🤪

Hello Instagram - it’s been a while!

I’ve been a little occupied over here with something other than weddings.. growing and birthing a whole human being! Ivy has taken a bit of a back seat in this new season of life, but I’m not going anywhere! So I’m just jumping on to say “hello”, I’m still here and though I’m not currently booking any weddings, I’m excited for the future of Ivy Weddings. Stay tuned for big things to come! ✨🤎

Hey, hi, hello, I’m here! I’ve been pretty silent over here (I’m a much better wedding planner than I am a social media manager, I promise) but boy, oh, boy - have I been busy!

These two wine guzzling goofballs get married tomorrow, and saying I’m excited would be a serious understatement. We’ve been planning Shawna + Jeff’s big day for 9 months (it’s literally my wedding baby) and tomorrow we get to execute all we’ve been preparing for. I have never had two people put such absolute trust in me and I couldn’t be more honoured and thankful.

I’m excited to see the rest of our florals (looking at you ), watch in action, see their family and friends enjoy a parade of food trucks and all of our finishing touches come together, but honestly.. I’m really just excited to see these two get married. No two people deserve this moment more. They are the definition of ‘meant to be’ and some of the best people I’ve ever met. They have built the most special family and I feel lucky and blessed to have been a small part of it.

After having had to postpone and change our plan multiple times it was just wonderful to have someone to help me through decisions. She was always great at sharing perspective on what was important and what we could skip when it came to pandemic wedding planning. Looking back to the loveliest and most intimate mountain side wedding. Inspired by the English country-side, surrounded by their dearest friends, Tom and Sarah finally celebrated their ‘best day ever’ after COVID required them to reschedule (more than once!) It wasn’t what they had originally planned, but man was it beautiful. 🤍
