Hey! It's been a while- have you met Dolena, our Founder?👋

⭐ Tell us something fun that you do in your spare time/ any hobbies that you have!
• Krav Maga, hanging out with Apollo outside, and embroidery

⭐ What's your favourite thing to do on the weekends?
• Be outside as much as I can! Hike, go for walks, picnic, bask in the sun!

⭐ What is something interesting no one knows about you?
- I want to write a children's book about Apollo- The Adventure Dog

⭐ If DOE organized a talent show, what do you think you would do?
• A silly comedy show maybe, where I lip sync a silly song and dance around like a fool. My talent would be the entertainment factor! Or nap... I'm really good at napping.

⭐ Are you an early bird or a night owl? Why?
• I can be an early bird when I want to be to get the most out of the day but, I can also sleep until noon if I wanted. I also love going to bed early but, if there is something fun happening, I'll be up for it!

⭐ What motivates or drives you?
• The dream of having the DOE venue on a lake somewhere, executing retreats, weddings and formal events, etc. on my own land with my house nearby. Being able to wake up and swim with my dog and eventually pet pig, Mr. Darcy! Each day it's a little closer!

⭐ What made you decide to start DOE?
• I've always had a passion for event planning! I’ve worked for several different businesses and industries but I’m always drawn back to events and team building. I wanted to start DOE because through all of my work experiences, I saw what worked and thought about how I would do things differently and this is my opportunity! As we grow, I’m eager to work with new people to widen our offerings! It's not just events I love working on, it's people I love working with!

⭐ What has been the highlight or your most proud moment since starting your own business?
• It was amazing being able to run such a large virtual event with so many moving pieces- shipping our own card kits, training staff how to craft(!), working with such a large group and making such an amazing donation on behalf of TMX group! It really gave me that warm feeling that our work is meaningful, and we are capable of anything.

Last week we hand delivered 57 Caring Cards to the Childrens Breakfast Club on behalf of the TMX Group!🙌😍

Working together virtually, they donated a total of $2,850 in gift cards to this amazing charity. Their group created under the sea themed pop-up cards, each containing a gift card, and learned more about this charity's cause while completing fun challenges for their Impact Day! These donations make a huge impact on the youth in the community who need it most, so a huge thank you goes out to TMX Group! 💌

We were so excited about this event and look forward to working with the Children's Breakfast Clubs again.
