Going back to the stock look, Starting to look better Hope to finish this today... And yes the block is supposed to be blue. This motor will be removed this coming year and our Roadrunner will get a 440 and this motor will one day be going into a 70 T/A Challenger and be sporting a 6-pak.

Well I did as Bob suggested and folks we found the smoking gun... Here is a short video of me getting to use my Milwaukee cordless inspection m-spector camera ( that's a mouth full).
tomorrow she comes apart...

we have a fuel issue with private parts, I suspected it the fuel pump eccentric that was the problem ... hear for yourself...

This morning, I put my 78 T/A on market place. I love this car it's awesome runs great but, I'm a dodge guy at heart, I see how I love working on the roadrunner / charger and the feeling I have for them.
I love it (it runs) I hate it (it’s dead again) while the 78 T/A just sits there running perfect. I probably will regret selling it one day it is one of 231 built and special. But...

I have 6 spots in my garage for cars and I'd like to have it full with cars that I really have a passion for. or have some space empty to work on them...

example my 81 GMC Truck, Fall Guy Truck, I will never sell that one along with my 69 Charger / 72 Roadrunner ...The Bluesmobile (its a dodge and runs perfect.. its staying)... But I would love to find a 70 Satilite\Roadrunner and/or 72-73 Challenger... these are my bucket list carz.

Well tomorrow is another day, changed the fuel pump and filter on the roadrunner and it is not pumping fuel, like I guested, it has something to do with that grear off the cam... the pump lever is not moving... Off! with the front of the motor to see what is going on and why it gets no go go juice.. or we just install an electrical fuel pump and be done with it...

So today we got the car back into the garage. it's a fuel problem. the lines from the tank to the pump flow perfect, the fuel filter was installed backwards but is now the right way. Next step will be check/replace the fuel pump.. if that doesn't work it we will have to look deeper... more updates tomorrow

Yesterday had huge highs and lows for me. The car did drive around the block 6 times and was running perfectly and then missed the car show. Needless to say, I was bummed, but relieved to find out all my work wasn’t for the birds, the fuel pump failed.

After a week of full contact wrestling with this bird fighting with the brakes, electrical and critical oil problems, the 72 missed the show.

Today she goes back into the garage and we will have this bird flying again in no time.

All and All, I had a great night; Enjoyed riding to the car show in Todd’s 55 chevy (Loved the new bench seat) , Enjoyed a large Summer-Berry Lemonade drink ( which I never do ) , Got to pull the car back to my yard with the BX25 tractor and a great friend, Then hitting the pub for a perfect steak sandwich and beers… what could anyone more want out of a Friday night...

You know you got a great buddy when you can say “ Hey, you steer my dead car while I pull you/it with a strap down a public street with my farm tractor while I drinking a Fruity Starbucks drink.
(which was very tasty by the way) and he does not have any issues with it, Thanks again Todd

the 72 is running great! but then not... Oil presure sensor that was plugged fail... 4+ litter of oil hit the hood at 65-80 psi... what a mess.

Fingers crossed will be driving this car tomorrow. I’ve had this car for almost a full year. Rumour has it. It hasn’t been on the road for a very long time. Thank you everybody who help me find parts for this thing

This is our 72 Road Runner, which is nicknamed private parts. The reason for the name is, we’re trying to build the entire car with parts bought privately and used.
