Picture a tree-lined aisle, with grass underfoot and the rustle of leaves overhead, leading to a grassy glade surrounded by mature trees. A fabulous setting for a rustic, outdoor wedding.

The making of a farm wedding venue

Since 2016, we’ve been eyeing this spot up as the perfect place for a wedding. Now we’re finally making it happen! The space is so beautiful - a natural, tree-lined aisle features a full, leafy canopy and the open glade is surrounded by mature trees, tall grasses and wildflowers. We’re consciously keeping the space as ‘unmanicured’ as possible, with the exception of grass on the aisle and seating areas, and some very intentional pruning.

Guests and the wedding party will access the venue along a winding farm track, where they might spot some of the alpacas or miniature donkeys, chickens, peacocks or turkeys that live here on the farm. At the venue itself they’re more likely to spot wild birds, or perhaps even one of the many deer that call this property home.

An enclosed ‘conservatory’ space will act as a ‘Plan B’ in case the weather threatens to put a damper on things.

The spaces are all being created this Fall, to ensure that everything is ready for June 2020. Call 403-816-6255 if you’d like to come and take a look.
