Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, responsible, punctual and reliable Event Assistant and/or Improv Actor to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning and ex*****on of various events, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional client/attendee experiences.

Duties:
- Collaborate with the owner and other assistants to ensure parties/events are organized and executed to the highest standards, including taking videos and pictures for social media upon permission from the event host.
- Assist in setting up event spaces, including decorations and equipment if the client wishes (usually not.)
- Manage registration and check-in processes if the client requests it (usually not.)
- Provide on-site support during events to ensure everything runs smoothly (absolutely yes!)
- Assist in post-event activities such as gathering feedback and evaluating success, handing out business cards, creating leads for new bookings, and garnering positive reviews and follows on social media. (Absolutely!!)
- Opportunity to be an improv actor dressed as the Little Mermaid or her prince! (If you want to!)

Experience & Competencies:
Apply if you have...
- Experience acting (theatre or otherwise) and / or plenty of experience, patience and passion in working with children and people of all ages and backgrounds
- Strong people skills and public speaking skills to engage with attendees politely and respectfully
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with diverse groups

This position offers a great opportunity to earn commission and to gain hands-on experience in event management while contributing to the success of exciting events.
