Wow! It feels like summer came and went in the blink of an eye.

We realize that we have been a little MIA on the socials over the summer, but don’t worry, we are very much still here.

So what have we been up to all summer? (besides dreaming up so many things for Frankly)
Well, Tina has attended 32456 weddings as a guest (I honestly don’t know how she has so many friends😂) aswell she has been slingin’ drinks for , working full time, mommin’ full time and of course caring for her chickens and various other animals.

As for Jaqueline… well, she has spent her summer Growing the hardiest garden she has had to date, growing chickens to fill her freezer, bartending for , caring for her farm animals, & hangin’ with her kids and husband.

To say this summer has been busy is an understatement, but busy is what we do.

The 5 C's of Event Planning:
1. Concept
The first step for planning a successful event is the event concept. Think about what the event will be held for, what the overall vision is.

2. Coordination
Having someone in charge of coordination the day of event is an important step. The next step once you’ve conceptualized your event is to coordinate it with a schedule and time markers to hit.

3. Control
This is one of the most overlooked and often neglected stages of event management. This is best managed if you do a run-through of the event.

4. Culmination
This is the ‘D-Day’ so to speak. This is when the event takes place. On this day, you and your team need to be on top of everything as per request and management of vendors, as well as guests.

5. Closeout
Once the event successfully ends, there is still work to be done. You want to make sure that all payments and termination of contracts with the vendors, caterers, speakers, etc. are completed.

6. ADDED BONUS- Celebrate.
Celebrate ALL big and small wins of the event. Pop the leftover champagne, or indulge in the leftover candy from the candy bar- YOU DESERVE IT!
