Meet Dean! He’s my new video assistant (slash husband) and he’ll be helping me at weddings this year.
We filmed one wedding last year together and it was amazing how much easier the day was with help — we were able to capture more angles, nearly twice as much footage, AND include Super 8 footage for that client!
Dean has run a successful digital agency for the past decade here in Ottawa — behind the scenes, he’s been a tremendous supporter for my business since day one. He’s built my website, managed our digital advertising, and has always been my number one fan.
I can’t wait to work together and I know you’re all going to love to get to know Dean too!

Wanted to share a little bit about myself for my future couples who want to get to know me!
✈️ I love to travel!! My most recent trip was to Arizona for a filmmaking workshop, but I’ve recently spent time in Ireland, Greece, New Zealand, Croatia, Portugal, and Ecuador to name a few! If anyone is having a destination wedding… will work for room and board! Let me know 🤞🏼 I first started out filmmaking while doing travel vlogs and will hopefully do more in the future!
🤓 I am a little bit of a nerd! My husband and I play video games together and I’m a huge fan of Marvel and recently I’ve started watching anime 👀
🌱 I am obsessed with my plants! I have basically turned my home into a greenhouse — I’ve got 80+ plants and counting! My favourite place in the world is
📖 In the last year I’ve picked up reading again and I am in two book clubs. If anyone has book suggestions I’m all ears!

So excited to take our team at to the next level in 2024! After four years in business, I’m excited to have my husband Dean join the team as an assistant / second shooter.
Wedding films are my absolute passion and joy, but we are also expanding into more business and creative work. I’ve recently had the opportunity to work with some local small businesses, community leaders and newborn sessions. Extraordinarily grateful for the opportunities coming my way.

Why we love Super 8 // Super 8 is a film based camera popularized in the 1960s and 70s. Each roll of film gets you only about 2-3 minutes worth of footage. We love the nostalgic look at the permanence of shooting on film.
Last year we included Super 8 footage for several clients along with the stunning 4K footage you’re used to seeing. We loved the nostalgic touch and so did our couples!

Happy Monday!
Watching Rihanna absolutely slay last night at the Super Bowl and I couldn’t help but think of all the hard work and planning that went into putting on that performance.
Your wedding is a lot like putting on your own Super Bowl half time show — months of planning and effort goes into making it the perfect day!
You’ll want to remember that day for the rest of your life — so make sure you invest in a wedding videographer to capture those special moments!

And just like that the 2022 wedding season comes to an end ✨
This year I’m so grateful for all my wonderful clients, I could’ve never imagined that I would be here after just two years of weddings! I’m so so grateful to each and every single one of my clients!
This year was filled with lots of learning, and growing on my behalf. I have still so much more to go but I am just so thrilled to be where I am.
I got to work beside amazing photographers, as well with working with some absolutely inspiring videographers! I grew more friendors and was able to partake in a absolutely beautiful styled shoot that was published!
2023 is going to be a huge year for me filled with many more amazingly beautiful weddings and getting to go to LA to learn from amazing wedding videographers is going to be truly so unreal!!

So much emotion 😭 Mélanie and Zacharie’s special day was a beautiful reminder of what a privilege it is to be able to film weddings for a living. I was moved to tears multiple times during the wedding and again when putting this video together. The love these two share for one another shone through beautifully and was a joy to behold (much like the majestic rainbow that appeared shortly after their ceremony). Congratulations again Mélanie and Zacharie! 🍾

We are starting to prepare and get ready for the busy wedding season here and I am literally so excited to get filming! I have been upgrading some skills and upgrading my equipment and I can’t wait to use it! We still have two months until our first wedding of the season but I have some really really exciting projects coming up! Can’t wait to start sharing more! This season is going to busy but I can’t wait to be filming all of our amazing couples this year!! ❤️❤️

Honestly dreaming about days like these at this moment!
Funny story time about this clip. This was the first time I used my drone I was so excited to get it out and using it for weddings. Little did I know it would also be the last time flying this drone. I ended up flying it right into a tree and breaking the propeller. I was so upset and angry with myself that I had just ruined my drone on the first flight.
I’m excited to get the drone out for this year but with some more practice for sure!

Our wedding series: first look edition 🥰❤️ I honestly never had planned to do a first look before, I had always thought that the first time Dean would see me would be walking down the aisle. But then I had then seen a post from our absolute amazing photographer explaining the benefits of having a first look and it convinced us that we should do one.
Fast forward to the first wedding I filmed and the couple did a first look! It was one of the most emotional and beautiful experiences I’ve had and was literally sold with it!
Now you are probably wondering did that ruin the magic of walking down the aisle? And the answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT! Both Dean and I were absolute sobbing messes while we walked down the aisle (also I think this was attributed to the beautiful music from 🥲🥲) but I think if you are thinking of doing a first look, I highly suggest it! None of the magic was lost and it left us with more time to enjoy our wedding day with our guests!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I have been easing back into work after taking off the holidays. This next month I will be doing a lot of things behind the scenes, but can’t wait until I can get back behind my lens.
I’ve made some upgrades in equipment for this upcoming season and am so eager to get using it 😊😊

I’m going into my second year of wedding videography and I’m so happy about it!
This year has been crazy I quit my job and started full time videography and married the absolute love of my life.
When I’m not editing or filming I love to travel. Next year the plan is France 🤞🏼🤞🏼
I am a huge nerd and love gaming, Marvel, Pokemon and Star Wars.
