Hello everyone! Long time no post. Joy here! I was taking some necessary time to rest, recharge and just take care of my mental health. Although absent from social media, The Belles are still working hard behind the scenes and it became very difficult to manage the page, the design work, and the event coordinating on top of our personal lives too! We appreciate our clients who have just been so supportive and understanding! You are our inspiration and why we wake up, hustle and work hard everyday.

Edmonton is situated on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional lands of First Nations and Métis people. Recent evidence uncovered of the genocide of indigenous people have been heartbreaking and although it's a hard pill to swallow, we must acknowledge that not much has changed today. Our Indigenous communities are still suffering albeit in different, but equally horrific ways. There needs to be change.

Let's take the time today to reflect and give our indigenous communities time and space to heal. Then, let's start to demand reconciliation and reparations. Consider educating yourselves and those around you too. Also consider supporting/donating to local indigenous groups in the community! These are some great people to follow:

Although we will never fully understand, we stand with all Indigenous communities in solidarity as settlers in their beautiful country. 🧡

Guys. This is surreal and AMAZING news for all the couples getting hitched in July onwards.

At TWB, we put your health and safety first. We are fully vaccinated but as long as COVID remains a thread somewhere, we will try to prevent the spread by masking up and maintaining our distance. Don't worry, these precautions won't affect how well we manage your day 😉🥰. If our couples request us to be even more cautious, we have no problem complying with their requests.

Stay strong, friends. The light at the end of the tunnel is right in front of us. Have an amazing weekend and enjoy that sunshine while has it! 🔔❤️

I was watching Snowpiercer with my mom and there was a scene where the train had LED balloons as decor during a party. I thought it looked cool but I know some people think balloons are just for kids! What are your thoughts on balloons for wedding decorations? Too childish or do you like em? 🤔🤔

Anyway, I love this quote by the character Meredith Grey. I am not married, but I am surrounded by people who are are and are happy. I think what makes all of their marriages work is... Work. I found this excerpt from .ly and thought it was beautiful and resonated well with Meredith's quote. ❤️
