Night 2 of observing the Splatsin Mountain Wildfire from the South West side.
Here is some footage I got while taking some photos. (Salmon River Mountain Wildfire)
Coming back from Salmon River, and this was horrifying to see! I sure hope this doesn't get too out of control especially with nearby by residents.
Can't describe the beauty the symbolism this represents, but my guess would be the balance between the light and the darkness.
The Calm Before the Storm.
A nice 2D version from the 360 view.
Been a while since I was able to share these, the regular site I used to convert these no longer processes these 360 photos, so this is straight from the DJI app.
This morning really spoiled me. I love the Earth shine brightening up the dark side of the Moon.
Always nice to catch the Moon and Jupiter in the same photo!
Tonight's Moon Shot
What an absolute night and day difference from yesterday's and night's groggy weather to what seems like nothing has ever happened! Dare I say today's weather reminds me of June 7th's weather which was almost exactly like this, but 26C weather (currently 20C). The shameful part was I never got any aerial footage of that day, so this is the only evidence.
Here are some mesmerizing photos of the God Rays beaming through the clouds.
A magical moment today as the Sun was setting, the clouds opened up enough to allow some god ray effect to beam through the clouds. Here is a time lapse.
You can see that heat wave come from miles away....
That warm rising Sun glow on the Eastern Horizon

Been a while since I was able snap a clean photo of the Moon and Jupiter!
The storm that came around, but never got close to.
Got the Sleeper Surron back up and running..
Hello to all and welcome back to a video where I reintroduce my "Sleeper Surron". It has been a couple of months, but I finally got a powerful 3000Watt 72V k...
A new view from top of Vernon, Turtle Mountain.
The only time it isn't windy and a good time to catch the Sun looming on the Horizon at 3:20am.
Another video for you all.
Hello and welcome to another video where I give my thoughts and opinions about Mid Drive motors vs. Hub drives on DYI kits and my time I have invested. My So...
Learned a very useful technique with night photography/ low light photography. Let me know what you think.... (P.S. The last 3 were used on the Mini 3 with the longest exposure settings to.)
Managed to get the bird up before this storm dropped a heavy blanket of water droplets on us. Heck of a cell.
I like testing the limits of doing 48MP. The sharpening it does on its own saves me from have to add it in the editor and allows me to focus on more color oriented details.
Getting more and more into that "48mp" game. I just have to remember that "Less and Simple" is the new "Go Big or Go Home".
Testing the Mini 3's low light capture and besides recording in 24fps, speeding it up just slightly makes it look smoother. I'm excited to do a lot more of this!
So I did a basic upgrade and I'm already using a great feature that enable much richer details in these kinds of photos.

Whenever I get a moment, I'mma start doing videos like this to mix things up a bit than always just posting pictures. I have my GoPro 8 mounted to the side of my helmet to allow "Vertical/ Portrait" style recording. Let me know what you think.
The best part about under estimating my Panasonic Lumix's abilities, is being proven wrong and surprised about what it can do when it comes to zooming in on objects from super far distances! When I contemplate selling it, it keeps reminding why I should keep it.
[Warning: For those who suffer from "Arachnophobia" even by watching it on film, please refrain from watching this!] Testing what I can really do on my iPhone XR with Slow Mo and 4K 30 on a Spider and its meal.
Recently got an iPhone XR and since I'm very new to the features, I tested out my 1080p 120fps mode on a Spider wrapping its food up. The attention to detail is astonishing! Still wouldn't take this over an actual camera that does this though.
