Last weekend I had the pleasure of creating some beautiful arrangements for a local wedding.

So much prep goes into such an event for me. Weeks of organizing, ordering, & planning take place. Sometimes things go wrong & sometimes things go perfectly. It’s part of the creation process. Each piece is carefully planned & executed with such precision.

I take great pride in ensuring quality workmanship. If I don’t like how an arrangement turns out, I start over. It’s the perfectionist in me. I strive to make sure the customers are happy with the results which they were!

A mix of dahlias, roses, phlox, lisianthus & eucalyptus was used to create these stunning pieces. The soft tones of white, cream and blush pink were spot on for an early September wedding.

I just had the best meeting with the sweetest bride! It’s such a special time in a couple's life! While the planning and prep can be a lot to organize, hiring wedding coordinators, florists, caterers & photographers certainly take away some of the weight of trying to do everything yourself! I can't wait to create the bouquets & arrangements for her wedding and see her vision come to life!

....taking a few moments to shuffle though a book my dad gave me. It belonged to him and he thought it was time to pass it on to me. My dad was a soil specialist with the NL government for many years while I was young we always had the prettiest yard full of huge shrubs, bushes and plants of every variety! Our flower beds were always in immaculate condition with so much colour. I loved admiring them always and still do when I visit....
