How MAZ Started

“ A positive attitude can turn a storm into a sprinkle."

MAZ started at the beginning of Covid 2019. I admired the live edge benches and thought one would look stunning under my kitchen window for my plants. The prices went against my moral limit.
I contacted a local tree farmer and purchased two five-foot boards. The bench project ignited my creative design. MAZ stands for Mia And Zoe, which are my daughter's names.

Hand-carved wooden bowl candles are the perfect home decor accent to enjoy along with your favourite scent.

Each bowl features a 3-7 wick candle, a solid finish that is perfect in any rustic-inspired aesthetic.

*After your are done burning your candle continue using these bowls by simply washing with warm water and soap.

C: $35. L: 13” / W: 5” / H: 2.5”

Please Note: Each bowl is hand carved and unique. Size, colour and shape may vary. These bowls are made from black walnut wood. Oils will set into the wood as you burn your candle and occasionally leaks can occur. Wood filler or tape can be used to stop any leaks.

This is a custom item & requires additional fulfillment time. You can order English Lavender, Tangerine, Lemongrass scents.

Each board is made by hand from me. These live edge black walnut charcuterie boards can be used as a cutting board and are finished with MAZ Board Wax.

We launched last year with Erie Picnic Co. and we partnered with Carly Ashcroft. That experience was non-stop exciting but bigger plans were in place for her. She is expecting her second child and we are extremely excited for her and her family. We wish her nothing but love. We have one more picnic experience with Carly this Friday to celebrate our successful Summer together.

Going forward, Taylor Overton and I will be partnering together for our Elevated experiences. Danielle Cameron will also be announcing her new adventure which will be combining with MAZ Elevated Experience and adding some glamour.

Our Fall packages will be announced this weekend and more exciting news!
