We are hiring a Full Time Labourer for our Sarnia operations. This position is not suitable for students.

MUST have a valid class G drivers licence

You will be responsible for maintaining, delivering and setting up tents, lighting, tables, chairs, etc.

You need a pair of steel toed boots and the successful candidate will need to produce a driver's abstract and be able to pass a drug test.

Hours: Day shift, 35 - 44 hours per week. You will work as part of a team.

The Inn is a great asset to our community!

The Inn's Food Bank

All through the pandemic, with incredible community support, The Inn has been proud to be able to stay open and ensure families and individuals continue to be fed during these difficult times.

Early on, we had to switch our ‘grocery store’ model to pre-packed food boxes.

With the support of the Children’s Aid, Circles and YMCA programs, we were able to distribute over 6,000 emergency food boxes to households through the spring and summer last year.

Since September 2021, we were able to reopen the food bank so individuals could ‘come in and shop’ giving them the dignity of choosing their own food.

Through the pandemic, we were also distributing as many as 150 food boxes each week to folks housed in motels and hotels throughout the city, who have found themselves homeless because of COVID.

Typically, pre-COVID, The Inn would spend $2,000 - $3,000 a month in food purchases with the vast amount of food coming from donations and food drives. Through COVID, we were having to purchase as much as $25,000 a month to keep the food bank stocked!

It sure is great to see food raising events such as CANstruction & CycloneAid return this spring!
