Part one - morning of 💌

What started as a small shoot to test out new gear turned into an incredible afternoon and collaboration with some seriously talented people

I love putting together shoots; coming up with concepts and moodboarding, but also playing with photography and collaborating with friendors

This shoot is inspo for the couples wanting to get married downtown at city hall, with an editorial, classic vibe on digital and film 🎞️

When piecing together your timeline or trying to figure out how many hours of photography coverage you need, remember more hours = more time to take your time

No one likes feeling rushed, and you especially don’t want to feel this way on your wedding day! Scheduling even one extra hour of coverage can give you a much needed breather throughout the day or be a relief when things run behind schedule (which they do most days!)

Each wedding day is so different, so your photographer or planner can recommend what sounds best for your day

In my wedding handbook, I cover how much time is needed for each “event” throughout the day so you know what to expect from me, and it’s included in every wedding package. I got you covered! 🥂

Let’s talk about printing and albums 📔

After the party’s over and you’ve relived your day through the photos, what happens from there?

We definitely want to turn your photos into something tangible that you can keep close and look at often, instead of forgetting about the link saved or USB in your drawer.

But creating an album sounds either like a fun new thing to keep the wedding bliss going, or a big task.

The good news for people who love playing with photos and design (like me), you can make a luxury album on your own through your online gallery. On the other hand, I can create and design one either with you or on my own!

The most important aspect of creating an album that evokes emotion is by telling your story thoughtfully. Tossing photos together like a slideshow might not take you back to the moment as strongly. So trusting your photographer to layout your photos, adjust cropping and do our thing will make a difference (kinda just like making these carousels).

Always a magical day at ✨

It’s been a little over a month since we celebrated Vero & Nicholas’ wedding and it was so special. The love and adoration these two have for each other was just radiant and present the entire day.

I spent the weekend in Hamilton to capture this sweet engagement session and it was so good. What an honour it is to travel all over to document a piece of your story.

Having done sessions for Anna’s cousins, I feel so fortunate to keep getting to know their family 🫶🏻

It’s the thick of busy season and that’s not just for us vendors

Last week I sadly got into an accident after a shoot that left me, a deer and my new car a little rattled 😅 we’re all okay though!

Apart from editing like a mad woman, I’m enjoying sunset swims with Heidi and trying to go to the beach as much as possible ☀️ Beach + Sunset + picnic = my fav
