Wish Productions is proud to present the WEDDINGS WITH LOVE SHOWCASE!

Prepare to take everything you think you know about bridal shows and put that aside. Weddings With Love is different.

We're revolutionizing the bridal show space by focusing on creating connection between wedding vendors, and newlyweds-to-be.

This project has been on my desk for the past 2.5 years, and I am so excited to see it come to life! Stay tuned as I share more about my vision and why in the coming weeks.

If you’re newly engaged, you’re likely seeing the terms wedding coordinator and wedding planner all over your social feed and latest google searches.

A wedding coordinator is responsible for supporting you in those final weeks leading up to your wedding. Their main task is to expertly execute the plans you’ve already made, so you can fully take in your day. They’ll look after things such as building your timeline with you, confirming vendors on the day of, coordinating your rehearsal, and of course - your wedding day! Most often, wedding coordinators have packages titled Day of Coordination, Event Management or Wedding Management.

Day of Coordination is best for couples who have the time, and interest in planning majority of their day, while handing the reigns off to a pro ahead of time so they can soak in every moment, and, let’s be honest - enjoy the party!

A wedding planner is responsible for bringing every aspect of your wedding to life. Their main job is to take the day you’ve always dreamed about from something in your mind, to a real life magical wedding day experience. They’ll look after every aspect of planning including everything from vendor sourcing and selection, budget management, rsvp tracking, decor and design, logistic planning, building your timeline, full set up and clean up, and of course, making sure everything comes together just as you imagined it would. Most often, a wedding planner will have a package titled Full Service Planning.

Full Service Planning is best for couples who want a pro on their side every step of the way to allow them to focus on the fun stuff, soak in their engagement, and make sure that planning a wedding doesn’t take up every second of their spare time.

You’ve said yes to your person, yes to your wedding coordinator (hopefully, you’re a Wish Bride), and now the most important thing you need to secure to get married? A marriage license!

It’s often considered a small detail but your marriage license is absolutely necessary to legally get married.

Looking for a quick and to the point overview of the ins and outs of a marriage license? Keep reading! We have all the info right here for you. (Cause removing overwhelm and creating a seamless process for you is what we do).

🤍 A marriage license can be purchased up to 90 days out from your wedding. Both you and your partner must be present with 2 forms of ID, one of those 2 must be photo ID.

🤍 Many jewellers in Regina sell them. Paper Umbrella on 13th is where I usually send couples. If you are outside of Regina, the Government of Saskatchewan website will have a list of the places where you can purchase yours.

🤍 Your marriage license becomes active the day after you purchase it.

🤍 It costs $60 to purchase a marriage license.

🤍 Your officiant will require the information of the couple, your marriage license number, and the names of your witnesses.

🤍 If you forget your marriage license on the day of your wedding, don’t worry!! It is okay and it happens! Your officiant will have the document you actually sign during the ceremony. They will however still need the physical document to file the paperwork with the government which you can get to them shortly after the wedding.

🤍 Once you’re married, you’ll need to apply to eHealth for your marriage certificate. Occasionally following a busy season wait times can be around 8 - 12 weeks!

With most planning timelines running at least a year in advance, it’s important to have your bridal party figured out early on in the planning process.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Saying “yes” to being in someones bridal party is a commitment of both time and finances! Your bridesmaids or groomsmen will need to:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨ Assist you with planning duties
✨ Attend the Bridal Shower
✨ Attend the Bachelorette or Bachelor party
✨ Attend the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner
✨ Save for wedding expenses including attire, gifts, or travel if necessary
✨ Often book time off of work or find childcare for your celebrations
