I have been a busy bee lately working away on my 2023 clients' wedding albums! It's such a wonderful way to complete the wedding photo experience for my couples. Nothing compares to seeing your photos in printed form – ready at any moment for you to grab from your coffee table or bookshelf and enjoy your wedding memories!

Photographing this wedding felt like being in an enchanted movie! Theresa looked like a real-life princess complete with a crown and cape-style veil.

Even though the NS flooding meant they had to change their venue last minute, this sweet couple was just so excited to get married and were still able to include many thoughtful touches. They even had a song written by a friend about their relationship play during the ceremony!

Wedding albums are more than just photos, they are a treasure chest of memories that stand the test of time. One of the things I hear often from my clients is that they never regret the opportunity to flip through their albums, reliving their special day over and over again.

That's why I include a wedding album in every wedding package that I offer. This goes for past clients as well - it's never too late!

I'm excited to share Julia & Rob's wedding day on the blog! Their wedding weekend coincided with Hurricane Fiona last year. Despite the weather and power outages, their wedding at Lord Nelson Hotel was so beautiful and memorable!

We started the day with the couple's first look and portraits in the Admiral Room at Lord Nelson. We were so grateful for a beautiful indoor space filled with natural light!

I'm used to being behind the lens most of the time, but am so thankful that on this day, my second-shooter Average Jane Photography captured me doing what I love to do!

Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in my day to day work, especially during busy season! But I wanted to take a moment to highlight some of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer:

📸 Connecting with people
Even though I'm an introvert, I love that I'm able to connect with others and get to know them. Whether it's my clients, their families or other vendors - I'm so grateful to have made dear friends through this job!

📸 Being the person that gets to be a part of special moments
Sometimes I am the only one witnessing something special happening on a wedding day, like a moment between a bride and her dad before they walk down the aisle. It is a special privilege that I get to be a part of those moments.

📸 Getting to be creative
I love that I can be artistic and creative - and that my clients allow for me to do that while documenting their special days. Every couple, love story and wedding is different and that gives me space to exercise my creativity!

📸 Creating heirlooms
Being able to document photos that will be used for years, decades and generations is one of the most meaningful parts of my job!

I could barely wait to share a few sneak peeks from Jessica + Nathan's stunning wedding at Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa! 📸 🤍

I am so glad this sweet couple found me at Atlantic Wedding Showcase. They were a joy to work with from the start! I love how much they laugh with each other and are just such joyful people.

Digby Pines is a beautiful venue and was fabulous to work with! Not only did they have great food and incredible views, but they also treated everyone so well. If you are looking for a wedding venue - I would highly recommend!
