Made these little burger last weekend to celebrate my wonderful Brother-In-Law's birthday!

We did a bar and then these came out for and I think he was quite impressed!

These were so simple to make and a big shout out to my Mum for finding the perfect pre-made cupcakes and having a chocolate cake made in her freezer so all we pretty much had to do was assemble!

You know when you just crave something and you can put your finger on exactly what that is?

These little Bellini pancakes with chive cream cheese and smoked salmon are absolutely craveable and exactly what I'm in the mood for this weekend!

A great way to use up cherry tomatoes is to make Roasted Tomato Confit!

We did these right on the grill by using our .

Simply place the tomatoes in, cover with olive oil, add some lovely whole cloves are garlic and then even some dried or fresh herbs. Roast over medium heat so you don't burn the garlic until the tomatoes are just starting to blister and wrinkle - about 20 minutes.

These are perfect served as a sauce over meat like we did last night, or as like a warmed bruschetta - rub garlic on the toasty bread, add this and some fresh basil! Yum!

They're also a wonderful addition - warmed or room temperature - on a charcuterie board!

Try them out, make them your own with different herbs and seasonings, and enjoy!

What's something you crave on the BBQ?

For me, it's these Chicken BBQ Skewers!

These have BBQ rubbed marinated chicken, red onion, pineapple and sliced ham. They cooked on the BBQ and then sealed with a nice sweet with heat BBQ sauce.

It's the perfect blend of sweet, salty, spice and even had a hint of sour depending on the pineapple you get!

Have you ever tried Chili Lime Seasoning on watermelon?

It's delicious and the recipe is easy!

🌶️ 2 tbsp chili powder
🌶️ 1 tsp garlic powder
🌶️ 1 tsp cumin
🌶️ 1/2 tsp freshly grated lime zest
🌶️ 1/2 tsp each salt & pepper
🌶️ 1/8 - 1/4 tsp cayenne

For watermelon, cut into slices and garnish 1 side with seasoning.

For meats, fish, tofu and mushrooms - season liberally and then sear at a high temp to really toast the spices.

And always, finish with a little sprinkle of lime juice to brighten it up just at the end!

So, so, so good!

As my hubby would say "Football is back, baby!!!"

Which means, we've got a whole new season of Monday & Thursday Nights, plus my favorite snacks ahead of us!

This recipe is a great one to use in September, because you can still employ the BBQ and with this recipe you can even hold onto a few of those summer flavours!

This recipe was inspired by the same flavours that I love on a Game Day Hawaiian Style Pizza, with a BBQ Sauce base.

Did you know cooking with others is one of my favorite things to do? Helping others find inspiration for their monthly rotation of recipes or a new go-to when friends stop by brings me so much joy.

I see the kitchen as a place of creativity and I enjoy helping others find that confidence in themselves!
