I logged out of the gram for months. No particular reason, just a happy accident and now it’s time to share some moments, faces, and places from 2024.

Km’s were run, miles traveled, planes flown.
Drinks chilled, coffee iced, food shared, always delish.

Milestones captured, “I do’s” cheered, glasses clinked.
Thousands of photos edited, countless moments preserved.

Amid jaw drops, tears, laughter, fear, smiles,
Ups and downs, happiness, and joy—we felt it all.

Wagging tail, ginger coat, playful barks.
Tag, always ready to sit, stay, and play. 🐕

The loss of loved ones taught us to say “I love you” more,
To call, hug tighter, and hold each moment closer. 🫶

Watching friends welcome new life, embrace parenthood—
Capturing their smiles, holding between feeds, and laughing with friends. Heart full, lucky, and grateful. 🤍

Plans made, plans cancelled.
Love shared, love shown.

This year was colorful, unpredictable, and full of firsts.
Through it all, my little family (and Tag) made every day brighter. ✨

4 years ago when proposed to me, he invited my closest friends to join the celebration. Trev made it for the big moment, he’d only been dating Em for a little while and I got to meet her on one of my happiest days. She was special. Trev mentioned she was a keeper and going to be around for a while.

Fast forward to 2022, they were engaged(!!) and a month before I said I do, I flew to Van and shot their epic “mountain-rainy-wet-romantic” themed engagement. 🏔️🌞

Today it’s their turn to walk down the aisle, I’m thrilled I get to be here to continue to capture their milestones and this chapter of life. 📖

For those of you having a wedding this weekend, deep breaths + sending good vibes your way. ✨

My stomach has butterflies for the weekend ahead while shooting up north, witnessing my two very close friends tie the knot. 🏕️

The best moments of your wedding day is when can’t take your eyes off each other. You’re close together, hands touching, thinking the same thing, breathing to the same rhythm, and feeling, ‘just married.’ 🕊️💍🤍

Nothing small about this intimate wedding one bit at Toronto Beach Club. There was endless love to go around the entire room, and then some. ⁠

M+C invited their closest friends and family. They told me photos of their kids and grandkids and was crucial and I did just that. She wore a dress that I want to steal out of her closet, and they both took the night away on the dance floor. ⁠

Packing the car and crossing my fingers for clear skies today. ⛈️

Oddly enough, Mark and I are off to shoot for a lovely couple at the ..which is also known as the LAST WEDDING EVER at the (!!!) 🤯

S+J genuinely enjoyed visiting the exhibits throughout their childhood, and to receive news like this less than 24 hours before your wedding is insane, gut-wrenching. The feeling I felt when I found out yesterday brought me back to what we were all facing in 2020; uncertainty and last minute changes.

All that to say, the wedding will go on! 💒 Only good vibes ahead and memories to make. I can't wait to see the Rainforest exhibit and Space Hall one last time. 🌿🪐☄️

Crushed May ✔️ 🏁 Recently hit a sweet PR at annual 10k. Clocking in at 56 minutes. 🎖️ Shaved off nearly 10 minutes from my first race over 8 years ago.

My goal has always been a marathon. It will happen someday. I know it. Proud to say I didn’t walk or take a break throughout, felt light on my feet, clear-minded, and confident. ⚡️

Lately, my mind has been wandering to the brighter days ahead, rather than refreshing the feed or giving life updates. But it's time. I've been thinking more about the upcoming season, head down in training and giving my energy to my personal life. Karma is the breeze in my hair on the weekend. Karma’s a relaxing thought..💭

This gallery screams Saturday morning vibes to me, a chilly walk on the beach, followed by brunch plans, and maybe a little movie on the couch later.

My Saturday mornings during off season have felt a little similar, enjoying the quiet intimate moments with Mark, peloton treadmill runs, sometimes even laying in bed for an extra 30 minutes because there’s no camera bag to pack or batteries to charge.

Speaking of charging my battery. I’ve been off the gram for a while. And while some may not think it’s a big deal, I mean for my business it is. My job is to showcase my art, my passion, my why’s, and even a bit of my life to meet with couples, and families who have similar values and interests who want their life captured.

Instead of burning out and feeling like I “had” to keep up and put the business first, I took a minute (more like 3 months) and took some PTO for the biz. I believe several other photographers in the community did the same thing and overall, we’re all coming back right around this time of year with a different perspective, outlook, and slightly more positive too. In fact, spring is right around the corner. 🌷🌞

Keep an eye out for new work, new travel stills, and frames of Mark and I’s everyday home life. I feel selfish keeping them to myself.
