I absolutely loved Brooke and James’s wedding colours! When we first started working on her design, she had already established the Quartz, Chiani and Wine colours for the bridesmaids, which I loved because the colours compliment each other so well.

When it came to the florals, she wanted them to be unique but not overwhelming in the sense that they brought too much colour into the overall look. So we identified our floral priorities and gave them to Trinity to create subtle but eye-catching arrangements for the girls, and boy did she nail it! She gave the bridesmaids soft, textured arrangements, and Brooke a splash of colour with a very asymmetrical shape. It all came together so beautifully. 🌺🌿✨

The boys completed the look with warm navy suits, crisp white pocket squares and very small boutonnières that offered just the right amount of colour 👌🏻

IT’S TIME! 🤩

I’m happy to present our very first wedding planning workshop – ENGAGED!

2020 was challenging. It brought unnecessary stress to an already overwhelming and emotional experience; it put wedding days on hold for 365 days; and, it created a 2021 season for us that I can't believe we're going to tackle, but that I am also so excited for! It has been a whirlwind to say the least. But, it also brought a lot of good lessons, and made me a more focused Planner.

2020 taught me about perspective and priorities. It taught me about how sharing more of yourself with others - including your guests, whether it's 30 people or 100, can captivate them at any moment, and how the WAY we gather is just as important as WHO we gather with.

The challenges we faced in our 2020 season were a first for all of us, and I would be remiss if I didn't share my newfound knowledge. It's for this reason that I created ENGAGED and it brings me so much joy to offer it to all of you!

Join me ‪on Sunday, November 8, 2020‬ for an afternoon of WEDucation. As a bride or groom getting married in 2021, you’ll learn about over 15 wedding planning and design topics, as well as how to plan your wedding with Covid in mind to ensure you’re prepared for potential challenges down the road.

Happy Monday!

If you’ve been following me for a while you know that I’m always working to make our wedding planning services more accessible to couples planning their Cape Breton wedding. I honestly don’t think that will ever change because I love to help and to see people actually enjoy the wedding planning journey.

So, besides planning weddings this summer (and growing a tiny human 🥰), I’ve also been listening to and learning of your concerns for 2021, and have been working on something totally NEW to bring to all of you this Fall!

I can’t tell you juuust yet what the new offering is but, I can tell you that it’s launching THIS Wednesday and you’re going to want to get your hands on it!

Filling your feeds this morning with the most beautiful, intimate wedding day that was filled with dried florals, The Hip, deep jewel tones, and a lakeside dinner for 15. Does it get more romantic than that? ✨

Jourdan and Andrew were married on family property in a private ceremony in IrishVale. There were many personal touches that made the day feel so special, and even some surprises for the guests. During the planning process, I am always reminding my couples how personal touches can really enhance the experience, and connect the guests more deeply to you as the couple, throughout the day 🤍
