Contest Mechanics:

There will three rounds during the course of the contest date on October 29, 2023. Contestant MUST be in the venue at 3:00 PM for sound check and tech rehearsal.

NO MORE QUALIFYING ROUNDS in Savory Food Trip.

Round 1
Sing your best contest Piece to qualify for the next round. Judges will Select best of 7.

Round 2
Spin the Wheel of Songs. You will sing the song that the wheel of songs selected for you. For your reference, the songs are listed below for your to study. This is a Sing or Go Challenge. Judges will then select THE BEST OF 3.

Round 3
The Final 3 will sing one mystery song from the Organizer as approved by the judges.

This event is open to all who would like to showcase their skills in singing and arts through craft.

2023 Cosplay Contest Criteria for Judging (Adult and Kid Category)

There are tons of amazing ways for people to express themselves in cosplay! However, for this contest, the judges will be issuing scores (between 1 and 10) in the following categories. The top submissions who earn the most points will win their category, and head to LCS Summer Finals to compete for Grand Prizes!

Quality & Construction (33%): Show us those amazing details and techniques! How have you raised the bar in terms of craftsmanship in your costume? What are some materials and uses that set your cosplay apart from others?

Creativity (33%): How inventive have you been with this build? Every costume comes with its own set of challenges, so let us know how creative you’ve been in solving for those tricky designs and project hiccups.

Accuracy (33%): How faithfully does this cosplay represent the champion? We’ll be looking at the accuracy of the costume and presentation to assess the character’s thematic.

Winners

Grand Prize winner (1) will receive $300.00 in cash.
2nd Place $200.00 in cash
3rd Place $100.00
3 Consolidation prizes $50

Karaoke Idol and Cosplay Contest 2023

Contestants must submit a completed entry form, in person, no later than 1 hour prior to contestants’ preliminary performance. Completed form can be emailed in [email protected]
Only one person can perform per application form.
Contestants are limited to individuals 14 years and over.

No instruments allowed

Competition is for Solo Performances only.

Entry Forms available in Savory Food Trip Store.

Order of performance will be determined by random drawing prior to each competition.

All participants give the organizer permission to use their name, photo, and video recording for any promotional activities.
The Judge’s decision is final.

Qualifying Rounds will be announced.

Finals

Will take place on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Winner will be determined by a combination of the judges panel picked by the Organizer.
