What is the relationship between Theatre Morin Heights (TMH) and the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) project management team? In order to gain funding, the PAC project must be represented by an OBNL with a financial track record, and TMH has been around for several decades. While the PAC team is a subcommittee of TMH, its purpose is to advocate for the needs of the entire community.

Corina came from classical dance, and later, as a veterinarian she designed, built, operated, and owned two veterinary hospitals. Additionally, she spearheaded negotiations with the ministère de l'éducation to preserve the privately owned local day care in the community. She has been a founding board member, artistic director, and treasurer of Theatre Morin Heights (TMH) since 2002 and participated in every production over 20 years as actor, producer, director, etc. Recently, she put together a team of major players to help integrate a performance venue within the Chalet Bellevue. Now she’s put together a team to help the arts sector in the Laurentians expand again with the creation of this dedicated performance centre in Morin-Heights. Corina brings building management and a deep awareness of the cultural sector and its players in Morin-Heights and surrounding areas. Corina is the font of local knowledge and connections, and our TMH veteran.

Natasha earned a bachelor’s degree in Management Economics and Finance from the University of Guelph, graduating on the Dean’s Honours List, and earned her master’s degree in Theatre Studies from the same university. She has worked in community, fringe, and professional theatre for a decade. She has produced plays on a grassroots level, working with artists directly and managing every aspect of productions from finances to set design. She has also worked with large commercial companies like Mirvish with their four large theatres and Drayton Entertainment with their seven. She is versed in the world of production management, unions, touring, HR, and making theatre happen. Natasha is the theatre expert.

Denis was President and co-founder of the management consulting firm Groupe Deux au Carré2 Inc. which specialized in Institutional management reviews and quality programs. Denis also acted as a full-time consultant for l'Agence de santé et des services sociaux de Montréal. In that capacity, he developed benchmarking programs for the Healthcare environment using best operational practices from the manufacturing industry. Denis was associate Director of Building Services for the McGill University Healthcare Center with a dedicated budget of hundreds of millions of dollars worth of new construction and project management. Denis is the project management and bricks and mortar guy.

Our mission is to promote, fund, build, and operate a PAC in Morin-Heights with curtains up by fall 2026.

- Working with local primary schools

- A place where people can gather and mingle in an artistic setting, allowing for interdisciplinary creation.
- The contribution to the economic prosperity of our town and region.

The PAC committee vision is to create a space where the performing and visual arts communities can flourish and enrich the population of Morin-Heights and the Laurentians at large.

The performing arts community in Morin-Heights needs a home. Theatre and music may have places to perform, albeit with many limitations, but they have no dedicated space to gather, create, rehearse, and perform freely and with the proper resources. We want to build that home!
