Congratulations to Sonja Gaudet on being inducted into the World Curling Hall of Fame!

Sonja Gaudet is one of the most decorated wheelchair curlers, winning three Paralympic Winter Games and three gold medals from world championships.

Her Paralympic medal record is perfect. She took part in three Winter Paralympics and won gold at all three: in 2006 in Torino, Italy, in 2010 in Vancouver, Canada and in 2014 in Sochi, Russia.

She represented Canada at eight world wheelchair championships and was crowned world champion at three: in 2009 in Vancouver, Canada, in 2011 in Prague, Czechia and in 2013 in Sochi, Russia.

The playoff picture is set!

Teams Saskatchewan #1, Newfoundland & Labrador, and British Columbia have advanced to the playoffs at 2024 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship.

Newfoundland & Labrador, and British Columbia will face off in the semi-final at 10 a.m. and the winner will advance to the final against Team Saskatchewan #1 at 2:30 p.m. CST.

Emma Nagel is on a mission to get more young people take part in wheelchair curling.

The 21-year-old second for Team Alberta #2 is the youngest curler at the 2024 Canadian Wheelchair Curling Championship, and she wants to see more young people like herself discover the joys of the sport.
