Another great goalie night in Stony Plain. A big thanks to Dean Marshall, Harrison Papineau and Braden Hapgood for stepping up to run things tonight while Joshua Brindza is hurt and can’t skate. Goalies once again worked hard and listened well!

MCN is proud to announce our new Manitoba area advisor Jason Smith!

Jason is a proud member of Opaskwayak Cree Nation with ties to Long Plains First Nation (Ojibway) as well. He has played a total thirteen years of professional hockey between the ECHL, CoHL, WPHL, CHL. In his final four years he played in Amsterdam, Holland winning the league championship 4 years straight.

This is what it's all about for our team of Advisors. Received this message from a parent! Just want to be clear that the success is due to Charlies commitment and love of the game, Not MCN.

Hope all is going well! I want you to know how grateful we are for you helping Charlie get started in the ECHL, Last year he was the 3rd leading goal scorer in the league, and he wouldn’t have had that chance if you guys did not reach out for him and assist 2 years earlier. He got signed by the St. Louis Blues AHL club, San Antonio, last summer, and the St.Louis Blues invited him to their training camp. Unfortunately he broke his ankle in July and was unable to attend. Just having that opportunity would not have happened if it were not for you and Dave helping a kid with out an exceptional college career. Thanks again and I hope your training video’s go viral, I love them!
