Another fantastic week and a bit at the Cork and Cast. A couple of pictures with a couple from Dallas, a table from Halifax, and some friends! I am proud to announce that between 60 individuals/family units through Eventbrite's site and the purchase of seats and giving of donations, through collections at the door, e-transfers, and people just passing me cash in hand, we collectively raised $3600 at the Magic Show Fundraiser I had this past weekend. 150 people packed the seats at our venue, and I couldn't have wished for the show to go any better than it did!
Many sincere thanks to every family, friend, and stranger that supported me in wanting to help make a difference; to show support and love to the families in our community who are still coming to terms with the fact that their family members were killed by an impaired driver in Marshfield on December 8th, 2023.
1/3 of all the money collected will go toward Laura Vanderweerd's family.

Last minute ticket sales for the fundraiser TONIGHT! The reception so far has been great, and I'm looking forward to performing. I've worked hard to prepare a great show for today, and I just know you're going to love it. If you've wanted to buy tickets or simply donate but haven't had the time, NOW is that time! My first interview! Journalist Dave Stewart of The Guardian and Videographer Tristan Hood visited our home yesterday. I got to share some of my magic with them and their reactions didn't disappoint! Looking forward to the article that will be printed this Saturday in the paper- all about the Fundraiser Magic Show I'm doing THIS SATURDAY evening at 6:30 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Cornwall. Tickets are $10 a seat on Eventbrite.ca. After clicking on "Reserve a Spot", there's an option to purchase seats and also to donate. Tickets can also be purchased at the door, on a first come, first serve basis, as seats are available. All proceeds will go to the two families who were irrevocably altered after their children were involved in the car accident that occurred in Marshfield before Christmas. Laura Vanderweerd (18), and brothers Isaiah Chaisson Makuza (17) and Elijah Stewart were killed by an impaired driver with no insurance. Two great weekends in a row! 'The Cork and Cast' last Saturday evening and tonight. Got to hand out several business cards. Last weekend I also performed at a private Cocktail/Birthday Party. So happy to be getting out there and doing what I love!
Been enjoying some of my holiday time working at The Cork and Cast! While guests wait for their servers to bring their meals, I get to entertain them with my magic. I was there twice last week and am performing again this evening. I love getting to do what I love! Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
After 10+ years of studying magic and being mentored by international professional magicians (who have performed for celebrities), and almost seven years of performing, I've decided to rebrand myself for a more mature audience. I've been previously known as Stump’d Magic, but I feel the name has altered the perception of my capabilities. I have a lot of experience performing for adults and families, as well as only children. While all of my material will still remain family friendly, I assure you what I do is not ‘just for kids’.
I have experience performing while busking, and at festivals and carnivals, public libraries, theatres, campgrounds, restaurants while guests wait for their orders, and for private (small and large) groups and parties. I specialize in close-up magic, but also do stage and stand up. I love building rapport with audiences and the awe and wonder that comes over faces when people are captivated by magic like I am.
