What a summer - it has been busy and full of so many beautiful things it is hard to know where to start sharing.
and created the perfect venue for S + M’s wedding. We had such an amazing vendor team with creating all the beautiful details and .weddings capturing them I can’t wait to share more.

Living in those in-between moments.

Making sure I schedule time during the day for my couples to enjoy a few moments by themselves is always a priority.
The day goes so quickly, even a few minutes with your partner can really help you enjoy and absorb your day.

As we sit here surrounded by snow I can’t help but think of this past summer and all of the beautiful events.
was the perfect venue for our couple; we played with colours, textures, and varying heights when designing and I can’t wait to share more.

2023 started with Jenna and Ryan’s wedding on New Years and is ending in fluffy socks and pajama pants. 2023 has been an amazing year full of new venues, new vendors, and lots of new friends

When designing the layout for an event we not only look at the aesthetics of the design but also the functionality.
Creating this lounge space not only added a beautiful element to the design but it was highly functional, offering an addition cocktail space for guests as well as a lounge area for after dinner drinks.

Something you should know about me is I love stationary !
I feel strongly it is the unsung hero of wedding decor.
Not only can it be aesthetically pleasing, but it allows for us to have a cohesive feel from the beginning to the end guest experience.

Reflexed Tulips!!
Tulips were not my favourite floral for wedding arrangements, then I learned how terribly wrong I was when I was introduced to the reflexed tulip.

What is Creative Control and why is it so important ?!?
Simply, it is when the a person has the authority over how the final product will appear. For an event planner this is the creative design and curation of items and vendors.

Creative Control always felt like an illusive target, something I saw others post about but couldn’t imagine setting that boundary.

After over 10 years in the industry this was the first event where the client stepped back and was happy to see what we could create for her and I have never been prouder of how a design turns out as it was a labour of love.

I am not naive to how big of an ask this is; to turn your vision over to someone and trust they will create you something that you will love.
But if you can overcome that hurdle that is where the magic happens!
Trust the process ! Trust the professionals ! We will create something beyond what you could have envisioned.

The ethereal beauty of a church, a couple in love, and the perfect black and white photo to capture it.
As a client this is what you see, and really all you should see. As a planner we see the many vendors and a perfectly orchestrated timeline to make sure these moments happen.

Hiring a planner is the biggest gift you can give yourself, ensure the moments are captured, allow yourself to be present.

These two had the most incredible love story💕 They fell in love and then were separated by 7000 km ,they managed to over come all the obstacles, had two weddings in two countries and are overall they are most amazing couple.
No matter what challenges covid may be presenting to weddings this season I remember that love always find a way.
