Hey! It's my birthday today, and ngl this photo is a few years old, but it's my fave dress and I think my hair looks fierce thanks to .colleen and it's festive so there you go! Haha

3 quick facts about me!
1. Will forever hate mayo + mustard (don't come for me!)
2. Cooking + baking is my happy place (especially if I've got a glass of wine next to me while doing it!)
3. Please don't ask me to pick a favourite flower - it's like asking someone to choose a favourite child! Lol But if pressured, I'd say peonies (with garden roses, lisianthus and ranunculus getting an honourable mention! Plus some varieties of tulips, and anemones, and delphinium... See, I can't stop! Haha)

Workshops! Let's talk about them! ⬇️

I honestly love teaching workshops. It's so rewarding connecting with all of you, giving you some designer tips, and helping you create something so beautiful you'll be bragging to everyone before you even leave the studio 🌸

These are some of the main hesitations I see:

"I don't think I could do that"
Firstly, we teach you a step by step process that keeps it easy and fun. And trust me, I would never let you leave with anything less than fantastic. We help every step of the way 🤗

"It's expensive"
So yes, it is an investment. But, you need to think of this as self-care. A well-deserved night out with friends. A new form of education. Also it's not just the creation you get, but charcuterie, desserts and drinks (wine, anyone?). It's the total package, with so many ways to customize and everyone always leaves happy ⭐

"I've done it before"
We love seeing repeat workshoppers! There's always a range of workshops to choose from so you can select something different each time. Plus, we're always updating our accents to give you something fresh to choose from.

Hello!! 👋 With a lot of new followers on here (yay 5k!) I thought I'd re-introduce myself!

I'm Stefanie, owner of The Bourbon Rose and all I want to do is make beautiful things that make people happy 🌸 When a bride gives me a hug after receiving their flowers, I'm on a high, for like, a week! Haha

So, I grew up in Riverside, moved to Toronto in 2000 to pursue my dreams of becoming a fashion designer, moved back in 2015 when I realized it's not as glamorous and fulfilling as one would hope (this is a REALLY long story so I won't bore you, just trust me 😂), and I started this little biz.

I'm 42 (I say this because most people think I'm 25 💁🏻‍♀️ Yes, of course you can see my ID LCBO employee!) and have been a go-getter since day one.

I would say my design style is Romantic English countryside meets Modern City living (which probably is an oxymoron but it works for me 😅) and I strive to make everyone's floral experience a special one.

My daughter Birdie is a gift at one point I never thought I'd have the joy of receiving and my husband Ted is my best friend who's been by my side for 24 years!

I'm trying so hard to be more present on social media but owning a successful business is all consuming and unfortunately the demands of everyday life get in my way. But I love you, I'm so thankful for you, and thankful that you like what I do!

Now I gotta go design some flowers!! Byeeeeee 🌸
