Last month we got the opportunity to host Winemaker Ciro Urciulolo of Danimi Wines at Supper Club edition No. 1 and taste some of their amazing collections.

A very special Valentine’s Cocktail coming atcha - Meet the Kir for Love.
Whether it’s Valentines, Galentines or more intentional Bro-time, we celebrate with time together, connection and create something that’s uplifting, sparkly and bright, grounded with depth and nuance.
This cocktail, at its foundation, is a lovechild between the classic Kir Royale and the Pisco Sour. Just like how we run our Cocktail Clubs in person, if you’re feeling adventurous, with a little tweak you can create your own version - If you don’t have Pisco, try it with your favourite Vodka or Gin, or spiritually pair the Lambrusco with a beautiful Grappa. If you’re feeling the opposite direction it can still be wonderful with a great whiskey, tequila or rum - However for those strong flavours we’d recommend trying sans sparkling wine.

The Kir for Love
*Topper - 1.5 oz of Paltrinieri Piria Lambrusco
1.5 oz of my Base Spirit - Pisco
0.75 oz of Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
0.75 oz Creme de Cassis de Dijon
0.25 oz of Honey Syrup (1:1 make quickly by taking a heaping tablespoon of your favorite local honey, we use MOB)
We combine all ingredients except the Lambrusco, in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled (5-10 seconds depending on how vigorous, can always adjust in the future based on preference). Strain into a Coupe or Flute, and then top with Lambrusco. Finish with a lemon twist by expressing the oils over top and then dropping it into the glass or adorn the rim. Get creative.
