Does this pencil make me look old? As a designer it is important to stay relevant and I have been debating about switching to an iPad and Apple Pencil for my drawings. Still undecided, but with AI now such a thing, I like to show that everything I do is truly done by my own two hands. Another year is behind me but with age also comes experience and for that I am grateful.

This adorable dress was built out of friendship. I met Nancy around 18 years ago at a pilates class. I was a new widow and she was the friendly face I needed in my life. When she told me she was getting remarried in her backyard, I knew we had to come up with something as special as she is. Something that reflected her personality as well as the intimate nature of her wedding.

The gown is made from a lace given to me by another special friend, Lesley. Lesley gave me my start in bridal and I have her to thank for so much of what I know. I’m so lucky to be supported and surrounded by so many great women.

Happy Valentine’s Day! 💕

A little behind the scenes today. This is my Valentine, Ryan. We have known each other for almost 22 years, have been together for 17 and married for 8. In spite of this, our relationship still feels new. Date nights , weekends away and vacations are some of the things we do to stay connected. We also just really appreciate each other 🥰

A gown that appears simple in design is never simple to execute. The fit, sewing and fabric must all be top notch. This elegant gown was created in silk crepe which is an absolutely stunning fabric that always gives a designer look.
