Setting up at the Palliser means entering through the back of the hotel and bringing the equipment in all the way through the kitchen. With it being such an old building, the access is like a rabbit warren of narrow pathways with clanging pots and pans, the sounds of chefs, cooks and servers running around and of course us, navigating it all with carts piled as high as the doorways! It's an experience that we love and the fine folks who work there just make it all the more special!

The outpouring of support and encouragement from you folks has been incredibly touching since the loss of our playground.
Along with the amazing stampede parade today, the last couple of days has cemented in our hearts the knowledge that this city and its beautiful people are up there with the best in the world.

The portable playground had been loaded into our work trailer last night, ready to be delivered and set up for a City of Calgary event at the Historic Fire Hall today. โฃ
At 12:56 AM a black Dodge RAM truck pulled into our warehouse yard where CCTV shows two people cutting through the hitch lock and driving away with our trailer, the portable playground inside. โฃ
This is a devastating hit to not only our small family business - but also, a big hit to our Calgary community.

We not only had to cancel todayโ€™s playground setup at the Historic Fire Hall, but we also work with many of the Calgary communities and businesses, like the Mustard Seed over Stampede and through the summer holiday, with hundreds of kids coming to play on our playground and make fun summer memories!

We are currently working with all our customers, figuring out how to best minimize the impact on their upcoming events. โฃ

Please look out for a charcoal grey trailer with white rear doors. It is 16โ€™ in length with a v-nose. It may have been abandoned once they realized what was inside it. โฃ

Setting up at the Palliser means entering through the back of the hotel and bringing the equipment in all the way through the kitchen. With it being such an old building, the access is like a rabbit warren of narrow pathways with clanging pots and pans, the sounds of chefs, cooks and servers running around and of course us, navigating it all with carts piled as high as the doorways! It's an experience that we love and the fine folks who work there just make it all the more special!

What made us decide to create the raddest soft play spaces for babies, toddlers & young kids? What is it that makes us passionate about helping you create the most memorable & magical birthdays, parties & events?

We started Sprog & Sprocket because as parents we know how fast the days turn into weeks and those weeks turn into years.

Before we know it, and perhaps before we feel ready, we are kissing our babies goodbye as they head off to university, or to travel the world, or to get married and start families of their own.

As our children grow up we give them so many things! As parents, we know that among the most treasured things that we can give our children are memories. Memories of laughter & love and of friends & family.
