The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of Saskatoon Prairieland Park Corporation congratulate Evan Drisner on his recent re-appointment as Chair of the Board of Directors of Prairieland for 2025/2026. Veronique Loewen was appointed as Vice-Chair for a second term.

Evan is currently the Regional Manager for Steel Craft Doors in Saskatchewan. He is a recognized leader with experience in the finance, construction and not-for-profit industry over the past 20 years. He offers a unique blend of executive acumen, business, and sales development strategies with a strong ROI on operational improvement.

Evan and his wife of 23 years, Danielle, have two sons, Noah, and Jude and call Saskatoon their home. They are actively involved in many volunteering opportunities in the city and believe that community involvement is important.

Candace Schierling has joined Prairieland as the Director of Signature Events. She brings extensive experience in marketing and event management, having led marketing, communications, development, membership, and fundraising at Remai Modern Art Museum. Candace also spent 10 years with Discover Saskatoon, promoting Saskatoon as a top destination for leisure, sport, and business travel. She has received numerous awards, including the Legacy Builder award from Discover Saskatoon and recognition as one of the ‘Top 250 Most Influential Event Professionals’ by BizBash. Candace excels in leading dynamic teams and serves on various industry boards. Welcome to Prairieland, Candace!

Peter brings over 14 years of experience in the fair industry and an impressive 33 years in concert and event booking. His career includes senior roles at Edmonton Northlands, The Canalta Centre in Medicine Hat, and the Regina Exhibition Association. Peter is highly skilled in managing large teams, planning and executing events, booking entertainment, contract negotiations, and budgeting.
