A very special thank you to everyone that came out last night. A sold out crowd packed Eagles Nest Bar & Grill to support Paws Crossed Animal Shelter & Adoption Centre. This was a great night, and was also my first time hosting as normally I get someone to do that part. The fellas are now on tour for the next two weeks so it was nice that we could start them off in Brandon to a packed house.

Thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters. This was a ton of fun and even funner that I got to work with some of my closest buddies. Paws Crossed is an amazing charity and they were a pleasure to work with. We were honoured to give them some support and awareness for the work they do. Eagles Nest, we can’t say enough good things about these guys neither. By far the most accommodating and easy to work with venue that I’ve ever worked with. I highly recommend calling Justin at the Nest as these guys are simply unbelievable to work with!

Just gonna leave this here but if your struggling with your mental health right now, just keep telling yourself “this too shall pass”.

That’s what I continue to tell myself.

It’s incredibly sad how fast depression will smack you in the face and how much anxiety brain can take over.

I’ve never been afraid to advocate for mental health and in particular for men but it’s a fact that “the outside doesn’t always match the inside.”

We should all remember that quote with everyone, as I’m certain many are struggling right now as well.

January and February are tough but hey, 8 more weeks and it’s finally light outside until 6:30!

I post this every year but it’s so true - if you see a check stop, don’t be that person that posts the whereabouts of the check stop to “warn” others.

If you drink, it’s so simple. Don’t drive!

70 months today.

Although some I am sure get annoyed by my constant reminders, it keeps me accountable.

In a world today where there is so much negativity and where mental health struggles continue to nose dive - it’s important to be proud of milestones like this.

To everyone else living in recovery as a recovering alcoholic - congrats on another holiday season of sobriety. It isn’t always easy, but it is 100% worth it. ❤️
