Small Flower Floral Studio has evolved out of owner Elli Jespersen’s love of flowers, beauty and nurturing relationships. As a child, Elli was inspired by her grandmothers to use flowers to create with an open heart and her memories of working alongside them continues to spark her today. The foundation of Elli’s creative designs are the many relationships in her life that have allowed her to bloss

om and grow. Elli believes that every small flower has something to share and that when combined with other flowers they form a beautiful bouquet with a powerful story. Over the years, Elli built the small family-run business into a thriving floral studio known for its personal connection with its customers and its inspired design. We are thankful, we are blessed! Thanks for allowing us to add a touch of floral love to your family's Thanksgiving celebrations. We are grateful for each and every order received and every one of you. We are here taking your last minute orders and our cut off is 10 am Saturday morning.

Offering hope, healing & beauty to the world through the power of one small flower.

Elli Jesperson is an acclaimed florist based out of Calgary, Alberta Canada in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, and Treaty Seven Territory. She has been in the floral industry for 30 plus years, owning Small Flower {floral studio}, formerly known as Anne Paterson's Flowers. Elli is known for her exceptional floral designing that some have described as reminiscent of still life paintings. Her artful approach combining the most luxurious blooms with locally foraged natural elements provides a visually stunning experience.

The foundation of Elli’s creative process is anchored by the relationships in her life that allow her to blossom and grow. As a child Elli was surrounded by the innate and ephemeral beauty of flowers passed on to her through her grandmothers. She recalls memories shared with them as they nurtured their garden blooms. Garden roses, peonies, dahlias, sweet peas and foxgloves to name a few of the classic beauties. This love translated into an understanding of the powerful language of flowers and how they teach us to grow and connect through our shared experiences. Nature is in constant motion and change offering us the opportunity to see the beauty in its imperfections and fragility.

With the belief that every small flower contains within itself its own unique magic, we offer open and full hearts to your floral experience. Welcome to our Small Flower family.
