📸 I’ll take editing water splashes all day over editing dust and spots, which is why I love using water in photos! Water shots do not work for every product but here it provides meaningful context and adds a luxe look without spending extra money on unnecessary props

This was a quick edit other than all of the dust clean up. I took time to clean the bottle and blow all the dust off prior to but as soon as the image loaded on my computer screen 💥 spots everywhere

What you don’t see in this image: multiple lighting adjustments, test shots, a full product reshoot when I wasn’t happy with the first round, and a lot of time sitting in front of my computer happily editing with a puppy in my lap snoozing away

This seemingly simple set up went from a basic white wall to a colourful gradient look using gels

I have to say I'm happy with how this turned out for my first shot at using gels. This would not work for all brands, but it creates an eye catching product photo for those who use pops of colour for their advertising
