The Century Wedding Barn is perfect for weddings and large gatherings. It is romantically lit with chandeliers and twinkle lights. Spot lights highlight your live band or DJ. The stunning facilities include park like grounds and large wooded areas. A long treed lane provides a breath taking backdrop for an outdoor wedding. The barn is over 200

years old and has been completely renovated. However, we have kept everything original so it feels like you have stepped back in time; kind of a combination of rustic romance and casual elegance. We are situated a few minutes north west of London, just north of the quiet town of Poplar Hill. The barn sits on over fifty two acres of forest with wooded trails, streams and ponds for unlimited photo opportunities. We even have an old fashioned working windmill feeding a large pond with a wooden bridge and a rustic swing for original, romantic photos. The water from the pond spills over into a river that winds its way through the woods. There is even a second large pond nestled among the trees in the forest. You will not find another more picturesque property as a backdrop for your wedding photos. Your guests are also welcome to wander the grounds and enjoy the views. We even have a "pirate ship" play area for the children. You have a number of choices if you wish to have your ceremony here as well. You can get married in front of the gazebo while your guests sit in the shade of the maple and pine trees. You can say your vows in front of the pond while listening to the gentle rhythm of the windmill in the background. You can use the forest as a backdrop or if the weather is inclement, you can set everything up inside our newest addition; a covered, open-air rustic cathedral. We also have a special bridal suite to allow the wedding party to get ready, change or just relax away from the guests
There are three large permanent washrooms (not porta-potties) with flush toilets and individual sinks in a room attached to the back of the barn. This area is also beautifully lit with another chandelier and furnished with an old fashioned vanity and full length mirror. This makes for an interesting and elegant primping area. It also means everything is inside in case it rains. After dark, the big barn door at the end of the dance floor opens to allow the dancing to spill out onto a large porch in front of the barn. At night the outdoor sitting area is romantically lit with solar torch lights and there is an outdoor fireplace for your enjoyment. We have been hosting weddings at the Century Wedding Barn for many years and yet we still feel the excitement as we watch each couple express their love for one another.
