Our roman empire is making wedding planning easy.🫡

Our events are curated single-day events held at a venue where multiple couples are married in one day. Each couple is given choice of specific time slots (first come, first choice) for a short, intimate ceremony, in front of up to 20 guests.

We take care of all the planning - from booking the most breathtaking and sought after venues with the dreamiest decor, hiring the photographer, arranging the florals, and even bringing the cake! Our Pop Up Wedding Events make weddings stress-free and affordable all while still providing a beautiful, memorable ceremony.

Wanna learn more about next year’s events? Details are on our website - check out the link in our bio. 🥳

Stop us if we've said this already, but we LOVE Laura. 😍

We work with a variety of incredible florists, but today we're here to tell you about Laura, the owner and operator of !

In her words :
"Laura Besaw, founder and owner of Meguma Meadows, inherited her green thumb though her Mother and Grandfather. Raised in Antigonish, NS in a family of five children she followed her youngest brother Stephen, of HoneyTree Farm and Orchard to the South Shore in 2016.

Always interested in plants, particularly edibles, she learned horticulture while working at Pleasant Valley Nurseries in Antigonish. The many, many teachers along her horticultural path include most recently Barbara Jewell of Island Meadow Farms in York PEI where she apprenticed in 2019.

Specializing in specialty cut flower crops grown using natural methods, Meguma Meadows was founded to provide high quality, local flowers to the Nova Scotian market.

Located in Conquerall Mills on the South Shore, we believe in doing what we love while promoting and collaborating with other small, community supported businesses.

We aim to connect people with the beauty of the natural world and promote local floriculture while creating breathtaking designs.

We believe the health benefits of both growing and enjoying plants and flowers to be limitless.

We love what we do and cherish the plants we grow. We know this translates to the plants, the planet and ultimately to you."

About Us

Hi, Sarah here, your JP.

I love weddings, any weddings, and I’m here to tell you that your special day, regardless of how you get married, should be anything but cookie-cutter.

East Coast Pop Up Weddings was created because as a JP, I saw a trend happening in people moving towards smaller, more intimate wedding ceremonies. People are looking to celebrate their nuptials in a meaningful way without the endless to-do lists and costs associated with typical weddings. (And without breaking the bank!) I understand we have multiple priorities: travel, debt repayment, home ownership, etc. I wanted to create something that allows couples to celebrate in a way that’s tasteful, adventurous, and reflective of their personalities. Enter, East Coast Pop Up Weddings: the goal being simplicity and low-stress all while creating something meaningful. I'm so excited about offering wedding services that are authentic and reflect each couple. It’s your wedding day, it should be a reflection of you! Drop me a line! I look forward to speaking with you.
