Looking for someone to play with in Edmonton?

Edmonton Tennis Community in partnership with Tennis Canada is offering Community Tennis Leagues. The Leagues help players connect and organize friendly matches with similarly skilled players in their community. The Leagues also provide a platform for players to track their matches, scores and progress while being able to win prizes along the way.

Thuy Cao was celebrated with the Distinguished Service Award! The DSAs recognize individuals, associations, and companies that have made invaluable long-term contributions to our sport in Canada. Without their efforts, our country wouldn't be the world-leading tennis nation it is today.

Thuy has significantly impacted the growth and popularity of tennis through his community involvement in Edmonton. As a positive role model for youth, he exemplifies exceptional sportsmanship and dedication to the game. Thuy frequently volunteers alongside his lovely wife, Kris, at community events like TENNISfest, TryTennis events, and various tournaments.

He has been a pivotal part of the Edmonton Junior Tennis Society, now the Edmonton Tennis Community. His support knows no bounds, and we are incredibly grateful to have someone as kind and dedicated as him on our team. Thuy, this award is more than well-deserved! Be sure to congratulate him if you see him!

A HUGE thank you to our partner Royal Glenora Club for donating the ticket proceeds from the October 12-13 sales of Edmonton’s National Bank Challenger! Their fantastic facility hosted an incredible event featuring some of the best tennis in Edmonton.

A special shoutout to Ryan Schroffel for being a key player in grassroots tennis in our city. Ryan has devoted so much time, effort, and support to help us grow and to encourage tennis in Edmonton. We are forever grateful for his unwavering commitment. If you missed him at the National Bank Challenger, you may have seen him at TENNISfest!

We’d also like to extend our gratitude to our President, Miranda Smit, for accepting the nearly $3,000 donation from Royal Glenora Club ora. Miranda, you are leading the Edmonton Tennis Community (formerly EJTS and Tennis Edmonton) toward greatness! Thank you for all the hard work you put in, both behind the scenes and on the court! ❤️

Welcome to Community Tennis Leagues!

We appreciate your support of Tennis Canada and Edmonton Tennis Community partnership program to provide a semi-rec/competitive scene for tennis! The registration for the next league is up, however, if you are currently enrolled in a League, you will not be able to enter until after the current league is finished, which will be on Oct. 16. Please check back and sign up between Oct. 17 and Oct. 22. If this is your first time signing up, you can register right away! https://communitytennisleagues.com/alberta-leagues

This league is open to all players aged 18 years or older. League registration is organized into three divisions based on skill level:
-Beginner (2.5 and below)
- Intermediate (3.0 – 3.5)
-Advanced (4.0 and above)
