Four-time BC CMA award winners Jackson Hollow showcase the Bluegrass genre to those waiting to discover it, while repeating the pioneers who started it. “Jackson Hollow continues to impress my ears. Victoria based singer-songwriter Allen Dobb is performing shows in support of Alone Together, Dobb’s fourth solo release (2024). Alone Together was produced and mixed by brother and collaborator Cameron Dobb, with much of the recording done during the pandemic at their respective studios. The melodies are carried by acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, lap steel, piano and other instruments in tasteful arrangements that always create just the right sonic space for Dobb’s intimate and soulful vocal.

We’ve ben having so much fun at with the monthly old time jam we decided to play some bluegrass too! Come out for craft beer and pizza and tunes!

The lovely folks at Dogwood Brewing are hosting an old-time fiddle jam! Come by for some beer and pizza and tunes!

This jam is targeted at intermediate or advanced old-time players - all are welcome to listen or play but the tunes will be full speed ahead :) If you’re looking for a slower, led old-time jam, check out our monthly Monday night jam at the Anza club (usually 3rd Mondays of the month).
