Took on a fun challenge with some creative 🫛 vegetarian dishes (with a little indulgence sprinkled in 😉).
I didn’t get photos of every course, but each dish was a joy to make, and even better to share. The whole meal came together beautifully.
Seeing the Butler House in person was such a treat. The historic details and cozy atmosphere truly made the evening feel extra special.

Crostini topped with apricot compote infused with Armagnac, crumbled feta, and fresh herbs.
Salad

Romaine gently tossed in house-made Caesar dressing with bright lemon and garlic notes.
Mains
🍖 Cast Iron–Braised Veal Osso Buco
Ontario heritage veal, slow-braised in red wine and tomato with garden aromatics. Served with olive oil mashed potatoes and zesty gremolata.
🌿 (V) Herb-Infused Roasted Vegetable Spiral
Seasonal vegetables arranged in a delicate rose spiral, slow-roasted to bring out their natural sweetness and infused with fragrant herbs.
Dessert
🍮 (V) Classic Panna Cotta
A slow-set cream with floral notes, topped with a vibrant seasonal fruit coulis.
