Feliz Cinco de Mayo! 🎉🌮 Spice up your celebration with the perfect Spicy Pineapple Margarita! Here’s the recipe to elevate your Cinco de Mayo fiesta !
Ingredients:
1.5 oz silver tequila
0.5 oz triple sec (or orange liqueur)
2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz lime juice
Splash of agave (for a touch of sweetness)
Lime wheels
Sliced jalapeños
Rimmer:
2 tbsp sea salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp chili powder
1.5 tsp Cool Runnings Caribbean spice blend
Follow these steps for Margarita perfection:
1. Fill a rock or margarita glass with ice and let it cool.
2. In a shaker, add a handful or two of ice, tequila, triple sec, pineapple juice, lime juice, agave, and jalapeños. Shake for 1 minute.
3. Remove the ice from your glass, rim with our house-made rimmer, and pour in your Marg!
4. Top off with a lime wheel and maybe a few more jalapeños for an extra kick. Disfruta !

Fun Fact: Our very own Chef was born on the beautiful island of Trinidad & Tobago before immigrating to Winnipeg with his mom in 1988. Growing up in a household where Indo-Caribbean cooking was a staple on the menu, Jonny always dreamed of showcasing the wonderful flavors he grew up with. To this day, Good Buds Catering continues to celebrate our roots by drawing inspiration from the traditions brought over by our ancestors and incorporating them into our menus.
