The Training Tomorrow’s Leaders group has been busy learning about agriculture/environment and how we best take care of our soil for the future! Last night they watched the amazing documentaries "Kiss the Ground" and "Common Ground".

Here is our TOP 10 List of things ANYONE can do to protect our most valuable resource… SOIL.

1. Don’t waste food
2. Watch Kiss the Ground & Common Ground to be inspired
3. Speak up for diversity in agriculture
4. Make your lawn CLOVER instead of grass
5. Compost and recycle MORE
6. Work towards a reduction of chemicals in foods, lawns and crops
7. Reducing our carbon footprint – watch the movies for some great ideas
8. More multiple cropping to protect topsoil
9. Grow a garden
10. Spread awareness
