CRE was saddened to hear of the passing of Dave Chamberlin. Dave was a valued member of the CRE team doing various volunteer positions for the organization including CRE President from 2015 to 2017 and the Trade Show Committee from 1999 to 2004. His contributions to the CRE still have an impact to this day and the CRE Board of Directors and Staff pass along their sincere condolences to Dave’s family and friends.

The 2024 MS Bike - Leduc to Camrose is happening June 22-23.
Since its inception in 1990, this tour has grown from a small 100-person event, to an event hosting nearly 2,000 riders, supported by almost 500 volunteers and raising over $2,000,000 annually!

Rainbow Riot on the 13th is a craft night at the Camrose Public Library. On the 15th, we'll be doing a Pride Walk starting at 10 am from the Visitor's Centre. Pride in the Park is on the 23rd from noon to 3 pm. Then of course we have our monthly Express OUTside on the 18th and Gaymes on the 27th! We're really excited to see all of y'all and celebrate Pride!

Thank you to the BGC Camrose for partnering with the CRE on another successful season of Training Tomorrow’s Leadership program. Thank you to all our participants who we enjoyed spending the last 10 months with learning all sorts of “real life” skills like budgeting, presentation skills, taxes, Alberta Agriculture, volunteering, community leadership, government, and backing up trailers/golf cart driving! Next program will be open to apply in September 2024.
