I love when I get to add flowers to just about every area of the wedding. I’m a big fan of installations on the ceremony pergola, especially when it creates a stunning addition to the head table afterwards.

HELP!!! We need some experienced floral freelancers. I especially need designers experienced in personal flowers as well as centerpiece work. This is not a trained position, we are only accepting those with wedding and event design experience. Our studio is in Fort Erie for all design work and occasional weekends are needed.

Happy Valentine’s Day friends. I went searching for a little red inspiration this morning, a colour I don’t often get to use. I went waaaay back to one of my fav combos. I’m a bold texture girlie at heart and these muscari pods called to me from my garden. A little cobra lily, Rex begonia, cymbidium and of course red charm peonies brought my alien bouquet to life.

Happy first day of spring!! Out here in Fort Erie we are watching the snow fly but I am optimistic that spring is on its way. Until all this snow melts I will dream of May weddings with fragrant lilac and amazing peony type tulips.

Lush is a wedding and event company that was formed from a love for botanicals and is inspired by the undulating textures and vibrancy in nature, art and life.

Our plant passion has grown through the years from the beginning as a caretaker of cultivated gardens and as a landscape designer. Eventually, we discovered that nature’s bold colour combinations, textural variations, subtle softness and instinctual patterns that spoke to us in our own gardens were moving us into floral design.

The once ornamental Lush studio gardens have become resourceful and bountiful cutting gardens, allowing naturally grown beauty and attentive care to be incorporated into every event we do.

We simply adore wedding and event florals, it is all we focus on. It makes us speak quickly (usually with elaborate hand gestures), work passionately and dance (It does make for a better bouquet)!
