As 2024 winds down and we get ready to ring in the New Year 🥳I’d like to take this opportunity to send out my sincere thanks and gratitude for all the wonderful clients this year and every year since 2011 🥰 It’s been an absolute pleasure cooking for all of you!

A big Thank you to my Sous Chef William - it never ceases to amaze me how we have the ability to do what we do and still keep going strong! Thank you so much buddy!!

To my Amazing Partner Ian - Thank you so much for all your support in all the things! It’s been a challenge since my injury back in July and you have been absolutely incredible, I literally could not have done it without you!! You’re the absolute best and I’m so grateful ♥️

Yesterday evening was the annual event for a group I’ve had the pleasure of serving for a number of years. It’s always nice to see familiar faces with lots of smiles and hugs. The full bellies and not much leftovers are confirmation I’ve done my job well. Thank you to my amazing partner Ian!! And for all of the attendees. It was a beautiful venue and a wonderful evening. I absolutely love doing themed Menus especially when it involves Local Wine Pairings ♥️ Last nights theme dinner party was all about paying tribute to all the Fall delights 🍁 💛🧡❤️ It was a great night with a wonderful group of ladies. Last nights evening service was a historic one! We did the first ever Dining Experience in the sparkly new Vineyard Dome! It’s worth noting this beauty has a higher elevation so the view is absolutely spectacular! It’s super spacious and full of all the luxurious things, including a sports car for a barbecue, which of course is very important because that’s where I do, the majority of the cooking 😉😉The guests were a lovely couple who were taking some time away to relax and enjoy a private birthday celebration. It’s so rewarding to see empty plates and there is no better compliment to hear “this exceeded all my expectations”. I love that, thank you so much!! Cheers to a wonderful evening and Happy Birthday!

Last nights service was a special one… it was the first Dining Experience with ! This lovely couple were gifted a two night stay at the retreat as well as a Dining Experience in the Cedar Dome with Me and my amazing partner 😉Their adult children wanted to do some special for them and I believe they nailed it! We had a wonderful and memorable evening. Thank you to everyone who came together to make this happen. ♥️ And a big Thank you to the owners, Shawna & Mark for creating and sharing the beautiful gem! We worked our magic last night for this last minute 30th Wedding Anniversary! Friday evening a wonderful group of friends gathered to celebrate the hosts 10th wedding anniversary. It was an evening focussed on Nova Scotia products and local delights. A big shout out to my team, Ian and Cassandra, you both rocked it out and I’m so grateful for all your help!!
