I absolutely love doing themed Menus especially when it involves Local Wine Pairings ♥️ Last nights theme dinner party was all about paying tribute to all the Fall delights 🍁 💛🧡❤️ It was a great night with a wonderful group of ladies. Thursday evenings service was so heartwarming ♥️ A wonderful family gathered together to celebrate some very significant milestones. These events are the exact reason I do what I do. Last nights evening service was a historic one! We did the first ever Dining Experience in the sparkly new Vineyard Dome! It’s worth noting this beauty has a higher elevation so the view is absolutely spectacular! It’s super spacious and full of all the luxurious things, including a sports car for a barbecue, which of course is very important because that’s where I do, the majority of the cooking 😉😉The guests were a lovely couple who were taking some time away to relax and enjoy a private birthday celebration. It’s so rewarding to see empty plates and there is no better compliment to hear “this exceeded all my expectations”. I love that, thank you so much!! Cheers to a wonderful evening and Happy Birthday!

Last nights service was a special one… it was the first Dining Experience with ! This lovely couple were gifted a two night stay at the retreat as well as a Dining Experience in the Cedar Dome with Me and my amazing partner 😉Their adult children wanted to do some special for them and I believe they nailed it! We had a wonderful and memorable evening. Thank you to everyone who came together to make this happen. ♥️ And a big Thank you to the owners, Shawna & Mark for creating and sharing the beautiful gem! If you haven’t had the opportunity to stay at the retreat, I invite you to check it out. Perhaps you’ll see me there again 😉

Friday evening a wonderful group of friends gathered to celebrate the hosts 10th wedding anniversary. It was an evening focussed on Nova Scotia products and local delights. A big shout out to my team, Ian and Cassandra, you both rocked it out and I’m so grateful for all your help!! This is a bit of a different post… I really want to express how incredibly grateful I am for all the help during this painful injury. As a Chef, I spend a lot of time on my feet so I literally couldn’t do my job without the support of my amazing partner. ♥️ Ian has been there for me since day 1 helping with allllll the things. You are an absolute legend and I appreciate you, thank you so much!! ♥️ As a small business owner, it’s so important to be there for your clients. But sometimes we need people to be there for us too. So, I also want to thank my family and friends for the continued love and support. I appreciate it more than I can say. Thank you so much, I love you all!!

This Monday past was a unique dining experience… I’ve recently ruptured my Achilles tendon and am performing my culinary sorcery on a peg leg. With an eyepatch and a few other accompaniments, I believe that makes me an official chef pirate! 👩‍🍳🏴‍☠️Thanks so much to this amazing group for the understanding and patience. Another amazing evening !! This wonderful couple is celebrating their 5 Wedding Anniversary and were all about luxury! They travelled here specifically to have this experience and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of that! It truly was a pleasure to serve them this evening. They were absolutely wonderful and they even accommodated a date switch so we could pull off the big surprise service last-night! How sweet was that! Love is in the air for sure and that makes me happy!! Congrats to all the love birds and cheers on many more wonderful years!! 🥳🎉♥️

Picture this: You get married to your person (I mean that alone is note worthy) and then you find out you’re off to enjoy a relaxing night (with all the bells and whistles added on) at Valley Sky (Hello, yes please!) and a specially curated Columbia East Coast Fusion menu for dinner! This beautiful couple was celebrating their 20th Wedding Anniversary and I was so pleased to be able to make magic happen for them! Kicked off the busy weekend with a lovely group of 8 gal pals Friday evening ! The weather was perfect for dining outside in the fresh air. And it makes for a great natural light photo opportunity so, it’s a win win! I was so happy and in my element, I completely forgot to snap a pic of dessert. Thankfully one of the gals had only taken a few bites from hers 😉 So I thought that called for a cheers! Thanks for being so being so amazing and for a wonderful evening ladies!!! 🥳🎉
