I will be taking this next wedding season off. It has been an incredibly hard year and this feels like the right decision.
This business is not an easy one, the majority of it is extremely physically demanding. ( I basically describe myself as a moving company, if you know, you know)
I am so fortunate to have had the support of community over the years and Heirlooms has truly changed my life, and I am incredibly grateful for this business and all of you♥️
I’m going to take this next year to regroup, take care of myself and possibly restructure how things work.

Hey everyone, our books for 2024 are closed.
Our focus will be on our current renters and I will not be taking on any new bookings during this time.
Rentals for 2025 will open once this current season comes to a close - I will post here when they do !

Our feature item this week has to be our brass candlesticks! Probably one of my favourite items as they fit well within almost any decor style.

Fun fact:
Did you know that we have 100 brass candlesticks available to rent? And we allow you to use real wax candles!:) because they are made of brass we are able to melt the wax off afterwards !

I’m doing a double feature item this week because I think they both go perfectly with fall weather 🍂🍁 Our rustic wooden bar is the perfect addition to any event and the galvanized tubs are great for candy 🍭 or beer ! 🍻 and anything in between
One of our tubs is even has a bottle opener on the side !!

We originally made the bar for our own wedding, and love the look the reclaimed wood gives it

I am so excited about this weeks feature item, our milk glass cake stands 🤍 they are perfect for any occasion big or small !:)
Fun fact:
Milk glass was first invented in Venice in the 16th century originally invented to compete with porcelain. Ours definitely isn’t that old but it’s still pretty cool!

Hey everyone, I’m starting a new series!!:) Each week I will feature something from our rental collection!! From chairs to glassware we have a little bit of everything.
This week I’m sharing our Elsa chair. This velvet blue chair is the perfect accent piece. This particular photo is from a bridal shower with the theme “something blue”
Fun fact :
If you’re into antiques you might notice that the Elsa chair is reminiscent of the 18th century Louis the XV era chairs !

Hi! It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself here, so I thought I should to my new & old followers!:)
My names Kaitlyn and I’m the owner of Heirlooms vintage rentals. I live in Thunder Bay with my husband, two dogs (rue & Loki) and my cat (Kevin) I love all things vintage, because I love the history that can be found in everyday objects.
I also absolutely love gardening,👩‍🌾, baking👩🏻‍🍳and reading a good book, preferably a fantasy novel with some morally grey characters 🫣 I love running my own business, and the flexibility that it gives me. I am a one woman team however I am blessed to have the help of my incredible friends and family when needed♥️
