This is our Mother, Lily. Today we celebrate Lily’s 82nd birthday. Isn’t that something? 🥰 Our Mom has taught us many lessons in this lifetime. She has an infectious ‘Joie de vivre’ and a genuine love of ‘anything’ beautiful. Fresh flowers, setting a gorgeous table, hosting a lovely dinner, great shoes, good food, wine, music and warm hospitality. If you’ve ever visited the Villa and noticed any of these things, they are a direct result of our Mother’s influence. She taught me how to be a gracious hostess & because of her, I appreciate the beauty all around us (no matter how small). Life should be beautiful. So thank you Mom & Happy Birthday. You are so loved. 🤍☘️
