What a fabulous year for flowers and plants 🌱✨

I started the year in Vietnam and Thailand where botanical inspiration was around every corner, and made it back just in time for March blooming narcissus and tulips. From there we were full steam into markets, weddings, and pop ups and oh my it was a lot! I hired my first set of hands to help with markets and Cecile was a huge asset this season. Sharing my world with someone after doing it solo for 3 years was a bit clunky and I will need better systems in place next time around, lots of lessons learned there. By the fall I was blazing through markets, making connections and preparing for spring all over again. November had me grinding with my, um, four jobs and Christmas prep so needless to say I was happy to get to drop all of it and head to California for the end of December. Now here we are, ready to do it all *better* this time around! Let’s go!

Thank you kindly to everyone who supported me and cheered me on this year! It was a year of growth, trying new things, failing and getting back up, changing my mind (again), feeling the love, and going for it. All good things, even the rough and the challenging were full of lessons I’m glad I was able to learn. 2025 is going to be about narrowing down my focus while also…. starting a new business?! More to come on that this month! Happy happy new year! ✨

When we say tulips, THIS is what we are talking about! Not your average grocery store bunch that last three days and costs $5 because they’re a loss leader for a giant corporation! These gorgeous ladies are striking from bud to blown open and are worth joining the All Tulip Subscription for! If you think you know tulips, just you wait!

Last call for fresh flowers!! I will be out harvesting the very last of the fresh flowers today and tomorrow! If you’re interested in one last bunch of fresh flowers, send me a DM or order through the website! After this weekend they will be taken down from the online flower shop! I will still be able to do a few larger custom orders until the end of the year but this will be it for bouquets 🥲 sad to see them go but this means it’s time for planting tulips, getting hardy annuals in the ground and prep for SPRING ✨

It has been an incredible market season this year at Loutet Farms! So many new faces, great conversations, learning experiences and dear friends! I’m so grateful to be involved in this wonderful community of vendors, growers, and supporters of all things local. Without our lovely customers this market would not be possible, so thank you for continually showing up and supporting your community makers, bakers, artists, and farmers! We have one last market this weekend, the ANNUAL PUMPKIN PATCH 🎃 The weather is looking damp at best, but we will be there with hot coffee, live music and pumpkins for the picking! Maybe some flowers will be just the thing to brighten up your weekend!
