Our Story:Florimac

Here at FloriMac we pride ourselves in growing our produce from seed, with care, using natural, safe methods that you would expect from a family oriented small business. Hard, long hours of manual labour and waiting pay off during the harvest season when our flowers will be available for purchase, either prearranged or custom ordered. We are open for business generally from June - late October, and are eager to provide our products to you at incredible, unbeatable prices. We always guarantee fresh, high quality flowers that exceed "Florist" quality, without the florist prices.

We started as a small propagation supply and bedding plant operation in early 1994 in Southwestern Ontario and grew to nearly 6 acres in field crop and greenhouse floral material production.

In 2013, started construction of a facility on Viceroy, SK and ceased Ontario operations that fall. 25 years has flown quickly and I have to take the time to thank the incredibly talented people I have worked with over these years. Thanks to Kathy Joseph and Wendy Doman for being there for our transition to a wholesale/retail floral operation, To Fairleigh Landry and Lauren Weber for their able assistant management. To Emma Lea MacDonald and Judi Udahl for showing me what excellence of design and marketing is possible. To Bob and Liz Sterling for helping throughout each phase, and of course our current crew, without whom nothing would be possible...my deepest thanks to Nancy Erb, Rosemary Fischer, Michelle Johnson, Tom Parankewich and our reps... DeeDee Chomyk in Estevan and Marina Warhurst in Ontario.

Most of all, thanks to all of our customers who supported us throughout this quarter century.
